Review: I love these Puffin Chapter Books. Bite sized stories perfect for an amazing bedtime story for kids or a lovely and colourful and happy story to consume with your evening cup of coffee. Though intended for kids, I think beautiful books like this one should be read and enjoyed by adults too.

I love stories like these, a fable with a life lesson tucked in neatly.

I loved the premise of this story, three sisters come face to face with Mother Earth and get to design a world they'd like to live in and see. It's a story of imagination and vision but also how quickly with a little power, greed rears it's ugly head and how easily it corrupts even most kind and well-intention-ed person.

I really like how Mother Earth was portrayed in this book, she is kind and generous but also tough and strong and ferocious when she needs to be.

The art too was absolutely lovely, for a book about the Earth's beauty this book and it's artist did it justice. The colours leaped off the pages and this book is a visual treat.

Oh, and I ended up with a signed copy which makes this so much more special.

So lovely.

Rating: 4/5

Highly recommend for the kids in your life and for you too.
