Hello March 2025.

Hello March!  Be Kind. Be Good. Be Gentle. Maa ❤️ A little reading. Some citrus.  Maa’s birthday. Feeling a little under the weather.

Saturday Diary: Books & Coffee & Joy.

Hello Loves!  Hope you're having a good first weekend of the year.  I read a little, rested up and watched some old Feluda films. Started a new book and even brought out my special markers to highlight. 📖 All good things.

Planner Joys + First Book of 2025.

Hello Loves!  Still recovering from my swollen gums and pain. Finding a lot of solace in my planners and re-watching some Byomkesh films and starting my first book of the year.  Simple joys.  I am having so much fun with my planners.  Goopy and Bagha to kick start my yearly reading. 📖

Hello 2025 + First Day of the Year.

Hello Loves and a very, very Happy New Year to you 🌟🎊🎉🎀🎉🎊🌟 I hope 2025 treats you & me with kindness and brings us peace and joy.  My day began with my beautiful planners and journals and I wrote my yearly goals and made some lists (you know that makes me happy!).  A great way to start my year and a new month.  Last night we had a chill night in.  Started the year with some cake and by watching Feluda, the classic Sonar Kella.  Can't think of a better way to start my year than with Ray.  My word for the year is Grace.  I want to give myself so much more Grace and also give Grace to the World and People around me.  I know it's possibly overrated but I love new beginnings and the promise of a fresh start.  I love stepping into a new year and starting new planners and journals and setting goals.  I like doing a reset.  I love new years.  Had coffee in a new mug.  I love my calander for the year.  And I s...

Days of Mid-October.

October is doing it's usual thing.  It's whizzing up in a blur of festivities, being busy and gorgeous sunsets.  Life as usual.  Here is what life has looked like lately.  Love gazing out my window every evening.  Finally reading Dracula and it's surprisingly accessible and easy to jump into. The plan is to finish it and then watch a film adaptation.  Picture books bringing me comfort.  Added some cozy mysteries to my TBR.  Craving for some proper autumn weather.  Re-read a book.  All good things 🌞🌿🌞 Hope October has been treating you well.

July Hopefuls (TBR).

Made myself a very ambitious TBR for July.  I'll be happy if I make it to most or some of these amazing books.  Some of these I've read before, and I'm due a re-read.  I am so glad I pulled these books from my shelves, there's nothing quite like shopping from my shelves 📖

Friday Favourites: Books.

Some favourite bookish moments from this week. Some respite in an otherwise meh week.  I haven't read all that much all week, barely a 100 pages but just the sight of my books is enough to keep me in good spirits.

Hello March 2024! (Middlemarch + Coffee + Bookishness!)

Hello March!  Hello Spring!  🌱🌿🍀🌳🌴🪴🍃 I am happy to step into March.  February wasn't great and I am hoping to make March a better month.  I am finally making my way back to George Eliot, I studied The Mill on the Floss back in college and I always meant to read more of work.  And March seems to be the perfect month to jump into Middlemarch.  I pulled out this chunk of a book from my shelves and I hope to read it through the month.  Wish me luck 🍀🤞🍀  I also did some rapid bookish math.  So my edition has 920 pages, which means I need to read 30 pages a day to finish it by the end of the month. Which is very doable.  I can do this and make notes and really do a proper deep dive.  I am excited.  Set up my Reading Journal for March.  Love how this turned out ❤ Today mostly involved reading, drinking coffee and chilling.  Today is also my Mum's birthday and I spoke to her first thing in the morning and I ho...
