Monday Mood: 5/5/25

What today looked like:  5.5.25  Monday  Good Books.  Good Coffee.  A spot of journaling.

Friday Favourites: Books, Home & eBooks.

Hello Loves!  Here are some Friday Joys 🎀🍄❤🎀🍄 Things bringing me joy this Friday:  Stacks of books.  Corners of home.  Sweet heart warming books.  Shelves on my iPad. Made a shelf for January in Japan.  Some new books.

Book Corner: My Favourite Corner of Home.

Spent my morning, moving my books around and sprucing up my space. Pretty much my favourite thing in the world to do.  Piles of stories to get lost in.  Books I am hoping to read this year.  This makes me so happy.  I love cleaning and organising so much.  A pretty space is good for my soul.  Used this indigo stole to cover my side table.  Some Ray merch to make my corner pop.

Blogmas Day-19! Memories from Decembers Past.

Hello Loves!  I've had a slow and chill day.  Read a little.  Cooked simple things.  Had yummy coffee.  And looked back at some old pictures and memories.  Mostly from 2021, and the winter in my small town and living with my parents and making my room there festive as can be.  So here are some memories from  December 2021.  My book and light filled room in my parents home. A good time, even though back then I probably was waiting for brighter time and better days. Funny how life works, when you are in the middle of living your life you keep hoping for something better or more exciting and when that time goes by..you look back nostalgically.  Well... Here's some good days from 2021.  Every night I'd light some candles and read or watch something on my laptop.  The room would be warm and cozy and I'd be under my quilt and life felt so good.  Good times.

Hello July 2024 + Snapshots of my Day!

Hello July!  I hope you are gentle and kind and beautiful.  I am hoping you bring more rains, good books and cozy days.  I spent my day airing out and rearranging one of my bookshelves. Found so many of my old loves. Pulled out books I want to re-read and some old books that have sat on my shelves unread for ages.  Love this book cover.  Had a bowl of delicious cherries.  I made a tentative list of July hopefuls.  Time for another Dostoyevsky.  More than anything I want Sukoon in July.  Just good old calm and peace.

Monday Moods: Read More Books.

Pretty Much my Mantra in Life.  Read More.  & Worry Less.

Hello June 2024.

Hello June!  Hope you bring some much needed respite from summer. I hope you bring rains and clouds and perfect rainy days!  I am so happy you are here.  Sadly, my June is  not off to a good start. I have a fever and cold and I am feeling like a wet rag. Ugh!  Hoping the rest of the month is better and broghter.

Blogmas Day-15! Book Corner aka My Happy Place.

There is no greater joy in my life than my love for my beloved books.  ✨✨✨✨✨✨ This corner full of books makes me happy, even on sad sucky days.  I snapped these pictures earlier this year on my camera and my book stacks look a little different now.  Reminds me to click a new batch of pictures.

Blogmas Day-14! Bookshop Hangs- Granth Book Store, Mumbai.

Is there anything better than just walking around a bookshop and browsing the shelves and finding some books to take back home with you?  Nope.  Nothing.  As much I do appreciate the ease and deals of online bookshops..there is nothing like the joy of walking around in a bookshop and finding some books that make your heart happy.  I will always, always prefer buying books from a bookshop and supporting an independent bookshop and keep them in business.  I have a few fave spots in the city.  This year I spent a morning at Granth Book Store and come back with a few books.  It was a good time. If you live in Mumbai and haven't been here yet, I'd recommend you take yourself here for a little bookshop hang and buy some incredible books. I really like this bookshop and their curation. I am sure you'll find a ton of books you'd want to immediately get!  Here is a little TBT and some snapshots from that morning.  I really should go back soon and buy ...
