Hello July 2025! + Life Update.

 July is here. After June, which felt like a punch to my gut and heart.  I am hoping July leads to more healing ❤️‍🩹 and baby steps back to normality. My Mum passed away on 3rd June and I flew to the hometown and say goodbye to Maa and perform her last rites.  Life has felt impossible and hard and every day feels…off.  It’s been a  long month.  My heart feels wrecked and my life will never be the same again.  I am hoping this month leads to some kind of normality.  I disappeared from the blog because I just didn’t feel like doing much. I barely read. Didn’t touch my journals. Just watched films and spent time with my sister and dad.  This month I am hoping to blog more.  Read more.  Cry a little less.

Hello June 2025!

 Welcome June 🌧️☔️🌧️☔️⛈️☔️⛈️☔️ Come in. Get comfortable and be Kind. Started my month with a side of journals, planners and supplies. Started a new book. Made some lists. Did a bedding refresh.  Felt hopeful about this new month. The sixth month of the year already! Where does time go!?!  I hope this month is good for you and me 🙂‍↔️

Anything to escape real life.   I don’t know what happened this month, but I just kept ignoring and forgetting about this space. I didn’t mean to.  I promise. I walked into this month with a lot of joy and hope and then life happened. A whole lot of mess all at once. Ugg.  Life went on pause.  My Mum is seriously unwell. She has Dementia, she’s had multiple strokes. It’s bad, as bad as it can be. It feels unreal and all this month it has felt endless.  And most of my waking hours are spent scared and worried out of my mind.  So I just…hit pause.  I read a lot, binged old horror films, ate mangoes, slept, cried and survived summer. In June things will be better. Things will look up.  I hope. I pray. 🙏🏼 I d...

Hello May 2025! {Journal Pages & Current Reads.}

 Hello May! May you bring Flowers and Mangoes and Good Books. May you bring Peace and Calm.  Here’s how I began this Month:  Started two incredible books. Heart Lamp is excellent and I am only three stories in!  Manohar Malgonkar’s historical books are an favourite of mine and this is the third book of his I’m picking up, so my hopes are high.  Hoping the rest of May is just  as stellar. 💛
