Friday Favourite: Haul from Kuuuusum--- Painted Circle Bag and Pouches.

Hello Loves!  Hope this Friday is treating you well.  :)  It's a rainy one in my corner of the world.  For this week's Friday Faves, I want to share a small but beautiful haul from a small shop. One that I came across on IG and bought from back in April I think. The shop is called Kuuuusum and it's owner makes some truly lovely thing.  I love the things we got from the shop and I am so in love with the gorgeous painted creations.  We got three things in total.  Two pouches, that are quite large and roomy.  And one circle sling.  Here is everything.  This Maa Lokhi Sling was love at first sight.  Look at how utterly stunning this is.  I can't wait to carry this out, might just save it for Pujo.  :)  So so so pretty.  The painting is flawless.  The bag itself is fairly roomy.  If you know us, you know how much we love pouches and can't pass up a beautiful pouch.  This one we loved and my siste...

Haul: Painted Totes and Pouch from Ayenaa.

Hello Loves!  Time to share a little haul from recent times.  I love all things handmade and painted and things that are unique.  I came across Ayenaa on IG a while back I had to get myself some of her beautiful creations.  We, sister and I, picked two totes. One pouch and one sling bag.  Here is what we got.  This is the pouch. Look at the beautiful art and look at those colours.  This is the tote.  Look how gorgeous.  I love the woman and the bird. This one my sister picked out, she loves birds and we love the old fashioned Bengali vibe of this one.  I also got myself this circle sling bag. The oodles of yellow and the this portrait really called out to me.  The bag itself is quite roomy and wonderful and even though it's small, it will fit all of my essentials. I also like that the strap is cotton and not leather or PVC, it goes well with the vibe of the bag.  And finally I got this beautiful owl bag for myself. I LOV...

Monday Moods: Haul from Craft's Bite- Pouches + Sling Bag + Notebook.

Hello Loves!  This Monday let's share some Small Shop Love. I came across Craft's Bite on IG a few weeks ago and really liked their prints and the many things they make. They have website and I browsed and bought a few things to try and I am happy to report I really love everything we got from them.  Let's jump in and see all the pretty things I got.  If you know us, you know we love pouches and we use them for a bunch of reasons. To keep our pens and pencils and art supplies organised and to even keep our handbags organised.  So when we see a cute pouch, we can't resist it.  :)  This mint floral number is so stunning and my sister intends to use it as a make-up pouch for her handbag.  Love this print.  I got this simple pen slip to hold two pens at best and I wanted something like this to keep a few pens handy when I am journaling or planning. Love the colours on this one and the shop actually sent me two pens too!  How sweet!  W...

Friday Favourites : A Little Road-Trip Plan and Prep~ Bags & Camera.

Hello Loves!  Today has been all about getting ready and prepped for a little road-trip.  I haven't left my house in over a year, barring one day to travel from Bombay to here, the hometown in West Bengal.  I walked in here on 2nd October and haven't left the house since.  At all. For anything.  So after all this time I am being a little brave and venturing out to explore the hills tomorrow.  Not staying anywhere, just driving up the hills and coming back after a little sight seeing and rejuvenating.  I am so ready.  I am also worried that I may have forgotten how to be around people.  And I am worried that we'll be surrounded by idiots!  Uff!  But I need to get out and be around people lest I entirely forget how to be social. Not that I was the epitome of being a social butterfly..but still.    Packed my Instax to click some pictures.  Charged my big camera for the first time in a year.  Poor thing it must be wo...

Blogmas Day- 10 Haul: Bags and Pouches from Chhoti Si Asha.

Hello Loves!  Sorry today's Blogmas comes a little late. I was busy writing and completely lost track of time!  For today's post I want to share some very happy mail I received today.  I came across Chhoti Si Asha on IG and loved their designs, prints and the many beautiful things they make. The cherry on the cake is that they are  a volunteer-driven, non-profit society that has been working since 2006  for economic empowerment and livelihood of women and adolescent youth in Chandigarh. So beautiful things that  support  a good cause. So you can shop and support  women  and young people  that need help.  All good things!  I got a few things from them, so let's see them quickly.  Love these words.  Tote bag and pouches.  The larger pouch is great for holding your make-up or even your Kindle. I think my sister will use it to keep her stationery supplies.  Love this print.  So perfect and minty and...

Monday Moods: Mohini Bag from Subr.

Hello!  Let's kick off this festive week of Diwali with a festive bag. A thing of utter beauty, The Mohini Bag from Subr.  This bag was love/lust/longing at first sight. We saw it on Subr's Instagram as a sneak peek to their Onam Collection. She was just too special to pass up. Plus, with Durga Puja around the corner we knew we had to have Mohini in our lives.  And we did.  Look at her!  Beautiful all over.  Well-made. Unique. Each detail is spectacular.  The attention to detail and each element of the bag is done to perfection.  Gajra.  Bindi.  Kumkum.  Ah!  She is tiny but is big enough to hold essentials like your phone, compact, lipstick, kajal and keys and card holder.  My sister and I are normally big bag ladies and something this tiny is not something we are usually drawn to. But this bag was too special to pass up.  A quirky and fun and stunning bag....
