Hello July 2025! + Life Update.

July is here. After June, which felt like a punch to my gut and heart.  I am hoping July leads to more healing ❤️‍🩹 and baby steps back to normality. My Mum passed away on 3rd June and I flew to the hometown and say goodbye to Maa and perform her last rites.  Life has felt impossible and hard and every day feels…off.  It’s been a  long month.  My heart feels wrecked and my life will never be the same again.  I am hoping this month leads to some kind of normality.  I disappeared from the blog because I just didn’t feel like doing much. I barely read. Didn’t touch my journals. Just watched films and spent time with my sister and dad.  This month I am hoping to blog more.  Read more.  Cry a little less.

Stationery Sunday: A Few Favourites.

Hello Loves 🌝  Here are some recent stationery loves of mine:  A pouch to hold an edit of my pens and some supplies.  This one is from The Black Canvas and I love it so much.  A bunch of Muji Pens and Sarasa Snoopy pens. Forever faves both of these.  I love Kaweco Ink Pens.  Small, compact and so easy on the hands.   A thing of beauty.  Contents of my sticker and stationery supply box. This is a small edit I made in the beginning of the year and have added to it as I’ve used up my supplies.  The box my 2024 Ink Bucket planner came in. I used it as a storage box for some planner bits.

Monthly Favourites: March 2022.

Hello Loves!  It's the last Friday of the year and it's time to list my Monthly Favourites.  It seems like such a long month, no? March always does seem so long after the short and sweet February.  March felt long but good, it started out wonderful and cold and is ending with me sweating through my tee.  Spring has jumped straight into summer and I am not looking forward to the hot month of summer.  But let's not think about that for now, let's talk about all the things I loved in March!  1. Spring Journal: I love how my journal for this month turned out, I loved how I set it up and I have really enjoyed how writing in it. Sadly not like we had much of a spring this year. We went straight from winter  to summer. Still, I can pretend in my journal that spring is lingering on.  2. Flowers: You got to love the flowers that bloom in March. Our little garden was alive in flowers big and small.  3. Deesa Clips: We got some beautiful blooms...

Blogmas Day- XII: A New Pen Pouch.

Hello Loves!  For today's post I want to quickly talk about my new pen pouch, which is an unexpected Christmas present...see my sister ordered herself this pouch to keep all of her journaling supplies in one place but while it was on it's way to us, she found some beautiful patchwork and minimal pouches that she loved more. She meant to cancel her order but it was already shipped and once she arrived she gave it to me.  So yay!  :)  It's a nifty little spacious pouch that is perfect for keeping a ton of pens and it even has some slots and pockets to keep other bits and bobs.  I haven't stuffed it too much but it currently holds a lot of my most regularly used pens.  So here's a look at it.  I love how clean and minimal she looks.  I might just put a button or brooch over the tag...but even without a cover up it's quite nice looking.  You can find it here .  I was using three pouches to keep some of my supplies in order.  Now, ...

What's in my Pencil Bag?

Hello Loves!  Today I want to share what I carry around in my everyday pencil pouch.  I recently moved into a new pencil pouch and all of my beautiful pens and highlighters were lined up too perfectly to not talk about.  These are some of my favourite writing instruments and most commonly used things.  Highlighters galore.  Neon.  More highlighters, these are some of my absolute favourite ones from Zebra.  And some new additions, pastel gel pens from Scooboo.  I also two glue runners and scissors to use for my journaling.  Here's everything.   A whole bunch of pens and highlighters.  I love these Pilot Poplol pens. They are cheap and smooth and perfect.  I cannot recommend these enough.  The pouch is from Nicobar and I bought it recently because I just couldn't resist these cute little elephants.  Look!! So cute!  Details:  Pouch: Nicobar  Pastel Highlighters: Zebra  Neon Highlighters:...

My Current Favourite Ink Pens.

Hello! Let's call this a..What's in my Pen Bag? Answer: Ink Pens.  This slim little pencil case of mine holds all of my ink pens that I am currently using. Lately, given my propensity to suffer from carpal tunnel and its shooting pains, ink pens are proving to be a Godsend. They are much kinder to my hands and writing with them is way easier on my achy hands and fingers than gel or any other kind of pen.  So, I find myself reaching for my ink pens way more than any other kind.  Thankfully, I have a little bit of an ink pen collection and a plethora of inks to choose from, thanks to my sister's longstanding love for all things inks and ink pens.  These are my most loved and most favoured pens of the moment.  2 of these are new and the others are old faves.  From L to R:  1. Kaweco Peach and Grey Ink pen: I've had this for 2 years and I use it with a cartridge, currently of a deep plum colour. Smooth. Small. Portable...
