Friday Favourites: Books, Home & eBooks.

 Hello Loves!  Here are some Friday Joys 🎀🍄❤🎀🍄 Things bringing me joy this Friday:  Stacks of books.  Corners of home.  Sweet heart warming books.  Shelves on my iPad. Made a shelf for January in Japan.  Some new books.

Blogmas Day-20! Cozy Reading.

 Hello Loves!  December has been all about cozy and comfy reading.  Reading by my moon light.  As cozy as can be.  Reading in bed.  Match your bookmark to your book always.  I've put away all of my other, more serious books in favour of all things cozy and Christmassy.  Made a whole new shelf of Christmas reads on my iPad. I've already read two books from this edit and might read a few more.

Monday Moods: Read More Books.

  Pretty Much my Mantra in Life.  Read More.  & Worry Less.

Hello June 2024.

  Hello June!  Hope you bring some much needed respite from summer. I hope you bring rains and clouds and perfect rainy days!  I am so happy you are here.  Sadly, my June is  not off to a good start. I have a fever and cold and I am feeling like a wet rag. Ugh!  Hoping the rest of the month is better and broghter.

Blogmas Day-15! Book Corner aka My Happy Place.

  There is no greater joy in my life than my love for my beloved books.  ✨✨✨✨✨✨ This corner full of books makes me happy, even on sad sucky days.  I snapped these pictures earlier this year on my camera and my book stacks look a little different now.  Reminds me to click a new batch of pictures.

Blogmas Day-14! Bookshop Hangs- Granth Book Store, Mumbai.

Is there anything better than just walking around a bookshop and browsing the shelves and finding some books to take back home with you?  Nope.  Nothing.  As much I do appreciate the ease and deals of online bookshops..there is nothing like the joy of walking around in a bookshop and finding some books that make your heart happy.  I will always, always prefer buying books from a bookshop and supporting an independent bookshop and keep them in business.  I have a few fave spots in the city.  This year I spent a morning at Granth Book Store and come back with a few books.  It was a good time. If you live in Mumbai and haven't been here yet, I'd recommend you take yourself here for a little bookshop hang and buy some incredible books. I really like this bookshop and their curation. I am sure you'll find a ton of books you'd want to immediately get!  Here is a little TBT and some snapshots from that morning.  I really should go back soon and buy ...

Slow Sunday {Blogmas Day- 11}

 Hello, hello, Today was such a restful and lazy day! The perfect Slow Sunday after weeks!  Didn't do much apart from reading, some journaling and bingeing some shows. Perfection!  This was me, pretty much (minus the plants)!  This is our tiny Christmas tree! We gave away our old and taller Christmas tree in 2017 to an orphanage- no regrets! So, we got a smaller one. Maybe we'll get a bigger one next year as we have so many more ornaments!  Lights are up! My December end- early Jan TBR! An impressive pile, if I say so myself! Our tiny Christmas village! Has one 2.5 houses but it is still cute!  Have a great week ahead, guys!

Monday Moods: The Mellow Days of November.

 Hello Loves and I hope this is a happy Monday in your life.  :)  Life, so far in November has been good.  Quiet. Cozy. And full of good books.  Lots of good reading.  I've already read two non-fiction books and I am already thinking of what non-fiction title I want to pick up next.  Might start something new today.  Hope your days in these post-festive weeks has been good too.  :)  Here are some snippets from my life lately that's made me very happy.  My favourite corner of home.  My books and more books.  This week I finally got to cleaning and dusting and sorta re-organising this corner full of my books. I cleaned and moved books around and kept books I hope to read soon in the front, so I don't forget about them.  This was done mainly because I hadn't done this since February of 2020 and also because I got some 12 new books in the mail this week, so I kinda had to made room for my new babies.  :)  As exh...

Monday Moods: Favourite Corner of Home- Penguin Moderns + Shelfie Love!

Hello!  I am a complete homebody. I am happiest at home and it takes a lot of incentive for me to leave my happy place. So it's important to me to have my home reflect who I am and be cozy as it can possibly be.  In the last month, as I was battling ill health I turned an otherwise boring corner of my home into a book nook. I got the book bracket off of Amazon and use it primarily to hold some books I intend to read in the near future. And I store all of the Penguin Moderns I own in one section because it looks pretty! So why not?!  I also hold some stickers and bookmarks in one section of the book bracket.  And here are some of the books.  I am quite impressed just how many books it holds.  You can just look under Table Organiser on Amazon and find a bunch of options to choose from.  Fabric paints in a leaf shaped tray.  This leaf thingie is so old. We got from Chinhat in Lucknow in the late 90s. I use to h...
