I guess the heat and summer time sadness is to blame for it.  Here’s what life has looked like in April~  My room flooded with light every evening.  Summer Sunsets.  Coffee Loves from this Year. 

 Happy Holi my Loves! I hope you had a lovely day and enjoyed yourselves if you celebrated. I have always been terrified of Holi and it’s easily my least favourite festival. I’ve never fully recovered from my childhood fear of hurtling water balloons. So I’m always happy to stay home on Holi and chill out.  In honour of Holi here’s an ode to some colours from my life: 

 My sister bought me a new mug today while ordering some groceries.  It makes me so happy. 😍 Look how cute it is..  Bearly Awake is me most mornings 🐻

 Here's a little look at what my Sunday looked like.  The biggest joy for today was finding some very cute and very affordable mugs while ordering my groceries.  Got some mugs from Swiggy Instamart and some from Big Basket.  If you know me at all Or have been a long time reader of the blog, you know how obsessed I am with mugs.  So finding something cute and Cheap makes me so happy 😍  So of course, coffee was promptly made and had.  Love this periwinkle mug so much 💜 Coffee and Classic Lit.  Yellow beauty welcome to my home 🏠  Hope you're having a lovely Sunday.  I read a chunk of Dracula, which I am loving. I plan on finding a film adaptation to watch tonight and read some more. 

Embroidered Things and Things made with hands and love.  Reading an old book. I am still trying to include my older books into my reading, and also the few second hand books I own.  Currently Reading The River Sutra by Gita Mehta.   Avocado Toast and Sandwich for an easy dinner.  Positive reinforcement from a bookmark, always a good thing.  A highlighter I like.  And my book wrapped in a book jacket. The jacket is from Handivity Designs.   Tea ☕ on a cold day.  So so so grateful for the weather being good here finally. More 🙏 please. 

  Nothing like a cup of coffee to lift my mood.  Bought these yellow blooming mug from Weaving Homes recently and I love how bright and cheery it is.  I am still drinking my coffee cold because Mumbai is resolutely not having a winter.  But no complains, I am a through and through cold coffee girlie ☕ 

 Hey, hey! My sister and I love mugs! We have an unhealthy obsession with mugs and have collected a decent amount of them over the years.  We bought some new ones to add to our collection this year and so, we thought of sharing some of our favourite and most-used mugs of 2023!  Let's get started!  This cute Teapot and cup set is from Weaving Homes and I love it! I have always wanted a cute teapot and this one is single serve and just perfect!  Orange Skies is a favourite store of ours to get pretty ceramic mugs and this cream coloured mug with tiny speckles is my sister's favourite!  Nilay Studios has the cutest mugs! This cute peach cup and saucer set is just adorable!  This cute cloud cup and saucer set is also from Nilay Studios .  This is one of our Christmas mugs from 2022 and it is this cute cat mug from Amazon!
