What’s in my Pencil Bag?

Hello Loves ☺️ I spent my afternoon happily setting up my pencil pouch for the year. This is my big sorta catch all pouch. I also have a slimmer pouch to hold my everyday essentials. Here’s the process and final look.  Here she is all full and set up. I bought this case from Amazon last year but didn’t use it. Then as 2025 rolled up I wanted a big case to hold my pens and I got this out and gave it a whirl.  Added a bag charm too.  Miffy in bed 💜 Here is the slim pouch holding all my everyday pens.  Love how both of them go together 💜🤍💜  Starting off. Charm added. This one is from The Calm Robin.  The mess before. We begin. A ruler and glue and eraser.  Filled to the brim. Very happy with how I’ve organised my stuff.

Stationery Sunday : A Few Recent Favourites.

Hello Loves!  Long time no see.  Life’s been life-ing away.  I’ve been reading, low-key journaling and cooking new recipes and resting.  It’s been OK.  Here are some recent stationery favourites of mine.  Two cute pen pouches that hold an assortment of pens and highlighters.  My gratitude journal and some favourite stickers.  A felt envelope pouch for stickers. And an open pouch with my most used pens.

Saturday Stationery & Slowdown & Sunset.

Today was a mix of sleep, slowing down, glorious sunset and some quality time with my planners and journals.  A day for relative quiet and some respite from a hard week.  Grateful for the little things and little joys. Like having my window open again after being jammed shut for weeks. Or having running water after two whole weeks.  Each day I find myself falling a little out of love with city living and the desire to run away to the hills is very high.  Maybe some day, if I am lucky enough, I'll have a little refuge in the hills, away from the noise and dust and chaos of the city.  Don't get me wrong. I love Mumbai with all my heart. But sometimes every thing about my home seems a little too much.

Vignettes: Life in Mid-January. (Book Cart, Pouch, Light & Reads)

Hello Loves!  How is mid-January treating you?  The air here in Mumbai is ever so slightly better. The nights are finally cooler and by that I mean my AC is finally off.  I am reading some amazing books.  Just finished reading The Memoirs of Valmiki Rao by Lindsay Pereira and I loved it.  Am also reading a very cozy Japanese book right now- What You are Looking For is in the Library. I am 45% in and can't wait to go back to it.  Here are some glimpses of what life has looked like lately..   Life Lately~~~ Rejigging my Book Cart, still needs a major overhaul and I am actively thinking about lining up my 24 reads for 2024 and using my pink Raskog to hold them.  A pink pouch to hold some of my annotating supplies.  A cute little bookmark.  Light.  And my planner that is still bringing me a lot of joy.

Blogmas Day- XII: A New Pen Pouch.

Hello Loves!  For today's post I want to quickly talk about my new pen pouch, which is an unexpected Christmas present...see my sister ordered herself this pouch to keep all of her journaling supplies in one place but while it was on it's way to us, she found some beautiful patchwork and minimal pouches that she loved more. She meant to cancel her order but it was already shipped and once she arrived she gave it to me.  So yay!  :)  It's a nifty little spacious pouch that is perfect for keeping a ton of pens and it even has some slots and pockets to keep other bits and bobs.  I haven't stuffed it too much but it currently holds a lot of my most regularly used pens.  So here's a look at it.  I love how clean and minimal she looks.  I might just put a button or brooch over the tag...but even without a cover up it's quite nice looking.  You can find it here .  I was using three pouches to keep some of my supplies in order.  Now, ...

Haul & Review: New Pencil Pouches from Taaga by Reema.

Hello Loves!  For a stationery loving and hoarding Behen, such as myself, a pencil pouch/bag is of utmost importance. A place to carry all my pens and pencils and highlighter and other miscellaneous things and keep them all in one place and safe is very critical.  So I tend to get a lot of pouches for this specific purpose. I also really like pouches in general. Back when life was ordinary and one went out and about, I used a lot of pouches to keep my bag organised and neat. I also use pouches to store my stationery, make-up and bookmarks and even jewellery. So in my world I can never have enough pouches.  :)  I was recently getting a backpack and tote from Taaga by Reema, and Reema shared some of her new quirky fabrics with me, I guess she knows me well and lo and behold I fell in love with these two prints and needed something in them. I didn't want another tote or backpack, so I went a classic, a pouch!  Two pencils bag, one for my sister and one for me....

What's in my Pencil Bag?

Hello Loves!  Today I want to share what I carry around in my everyday pencil pouch.  I recently moved into a new pencil pouch and all of my beautiful pens and highlighters were lined up too perfectly to not talk about.  These are some of my favourite writing instruments and most commonly used things.  Highlighters galore.  Neon.  More highlighters, these are some of my absolute favourite ones from Zebra.  And some new additions, pastel gel pens from Scooboo.  I also two glue runners and scissors to use for my journaling.  Here's everything.   A whole bunch of pens and highlighters.  I love these Pilot Poplol pens. They are cheap and smooth and perfect.  I cannot recommend these enough.  The pouch is from Nicobar and I bought it recently because I just couldn't resist these cute little elephants.  Look!! So cute!  Details:  Pouch: Nicobar  Pastel Highlighters: Zebra  Neon Highlighters:...
