Monthly Favourites: February 2024. (Journals, Books, iPad, Birthday and Colouring Books).

Hello Loves!  February is almost over.  We get a whole extra day this year and it always makes me happy, having one extra day in my birthday month.  To honest though, for the first time in forever this February wasn't my favourite.  I had a pretty crummy month and was sad and out of it for most days. I was honestly waiting for this month to end and I am happy to see it go.  My birthday month was a bit of a flop.  :(  Well, but that's life.  Some months are good and others suck, it was just sad that my birthday month was one that I didn't enjoy.  Still, there were some things I loved and so here are some favourites from a less than perfect month.  FEBRUARY FAVOURITES:   1. Journals: I found a lot of comfort and joy in my Journal this month. I used a pretty embroidered journal for my birthday month and I am happy with how most of the pages turned out. I might do a full post with my favourite journal pages. I also liked my Readi...

18.2.24 Another Birthday ❤

Hello Loves!  Today is my Birthday.  I turn another year older and definitely wiser.  TBH, I've been a little sad all month long. I really wanted to have a happy birthday month but..instead I've been feeling deeply unhappy.  Guys, I haven't even bought any books this month. And normally, if you've followed me along for any length of time, you know that February is when I go feral and just buy as many books as my heart desires.  Not this year.  Everything feels so out of sync and my heart just feels heavy and out of it.  Meh.  Today was mildly better, I think watching some of old nostalgic films worked.  I watched You've Got Mail again.  And Two Weeks Notice.  And this evening I watched Bhoot.  It was a chill day. Here are some glimpses of my very okay-types-birthday.  Coffee. A venti, because birthday.  This was a White Mocha Frappuccino.  It was good.  Birthday in my planner.  Pages in my current...

A Day in my Life: Birthday 2022 ~ Books + Cake + Instax + Cuteness.

So your girl turned a year older today.  Wiser too...hopefully.  Had yet another quiet birthday this year.  Read.  Had so much love and wishes come my way.  Opened a few gifts.  Ate cake.  Played Scrabble with my family after agesss...years in fact and I won!  :)  It was a good day.  A very, very good day.  Oh and there was amazing food involved too.  Basanti pulao and chingir malaicurry and Chinese grubs for dinner.  I am so grateful for this life and everyone who made me feel special.  :)  Here are some snippets of my day.  Just some things I am manifesting for myself this year.  My cake.  I cut 3 birthday cakes this year!  *feeling most spoilt* Did a tiny bit of journaling today.  Wrote some goals and hopes for the coming year.  Took pictures of my birthday book haul.  And took an Instax of it, it's a little bit of tradition of mine.  Haul coming soon!  No bir...

Monthly Favourites: February 2021.

Hello Loves!  My favourite month of the year is almost over and it's honestly been a month full of joys big and small.  My birthday.  Feeling so loved and cherished.  Celebrations.  Cake.  Good food.  The last days of winters.  Saraswati Pujo.  Writing.  Watching some good shows.  So much amazing things I was gifted and some I treated myself to.  :)  It was a good month.  A quiet month and one that I am so grateful for.  Here are some of my favourites from my favourite little month.  1. Piggy Cake: My birthday cake was a thing of joy. A pink Piggy cake for a girl who's childhood nickname was Piggy thanks to her propensity to pout and make a pig face on demand. It was super cute and delicious too.  2. P Pendant: A gift of love that I wore on my birthday.  P for Pooja.  I love how minimal and lovely this pendant is. 3. Reading Favourites in February: I didn't read a LOT this month. I thi...
