Blogmas Day IV: Things That Make Me Happy~ 2021 Edition. (A few random favourites)

Hello Loves!  This has been yet another strange year. I think a lot of us felt it would be better compared to the horror that was 2020 and maybe for some it was. For a lot of us this year was way..wayyy worse than 2020.  I started this year with a lot of excitement and hope and in so many ways the first 3 months were sorta perfect.  I blogged every single day and was reading a ton and even managed to do a little road trip to the hills.  Then in April Covid got me..I still don't know how since we stayed home completely. But by the grace of God we, sister and I, got better. Yet here I am in December, still unable smell anything and my energy level is just shot to hell. I do well for a couple of days and then BAM I feel drained for a whole day. The after effects of this darn virus keep lingering on. I meant to write so much more this year. I meant to go back home. I meant to be...well I should be glad I survived when so many other didn't. For that I am grateful....

Hello July 2021 + A Day in my Life.

Hello July!  Hello Rains!  Hello the Second Half of 2021.  I am so happy July is here.  I am hoping this is a good month, full of good books and some much needed writing.  Be Good July.  Be Gentle.  Be Kind!  The first day of July is off to a good start.  It was a rainy day.  Grey.  Cloudy.  Lovely.  My dearest friend Meenakshi sent us a whole bunch journals.  She is the sweetest person who really goes out of her way to spoil and pamper us.  I put my new journal to good use and started using it.  I am using this journal as a thought dump journal.  A place to do my morning pages.  I wrote some six pages today while sitting on the roof and it was perfect.  Things I carry to the roof.  Books.  Journals.  Kindle.  All carried in my tote bag.  Traveler's Notebook and some sparkly markers and Inayat bookmark.  Just some beautiful things.  Started a new book ...

Stationery Sunday: The Botanical Kit from The Bodhi Journal.

Hello Loves!  The Bodhi Journal has been a very happy discovery.  We've ordered quite a few things from them in the last few months.  This was our first batch of things we got from them.  Some beautiful postcards.  Stickers.  & A whole Botanical Kit, which is full of ephemera, paper bits and stickers.   I am so happy there are incredible places to buy stickers and stationery from in India.  Makes my stationery-loving heart very happy.  :)  Some floral stickers in multiple sizes and shapes.  So utterly gorgeous.  I've used a few of these already in various journal spreads.  More stickers. I especially love the circle stickers.  Slightly larger stickers.  These are great to use in my junk journal which is an A5 size.  So, so beautiful and perfect.  The quality of these is good too.  A kit is a good way to kickstart some art journaling and junk journaling.  Plus perfect to do up your planner ...

Monday Moods: Gratitude Journal.

“Appreciation is a wonderful thing. It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.” Voltaire  Starting everyday and every week with a heart full of gratitude.  Writing in my gratitude journal always makes me feel good about life, no matter how the current situation in life is.  “When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself.” Tecumsah    These are the pages of my gratitude journal from last week.  I don't always decorate my Gratitude Journal.  I like to keep it simple and leave ample space for writing about things big and small that I am grateful for.  This week I used little stickers from Stickii Club Kits.  Some happy, lazy and joyful frogs going about the lives.  And some bunnies for Easter.  :)

Stationery Sunday: Sticker Haul from VnV Shop + Review.

Hello Loves!  Today it's time to share some seriously cute stickers I got from VnV Shop .  Some moody and vintage vibe stickers that are gorgeous and perfect for my journal spreads.  I've already used some of the stickers here and there and I cannot wait to use more of these beauties.  Chalo, let's just jump into all the prettiness.  First of all everything comes so beautifully packaged that you don't even have the heart to open it up.  I've saved most elements of the packaging to re-use in my journaling spreads.  Why waste any of this beauty?  Just so lovely!  I am so so impressed with this shop and how everything is, from start to finish.  I highly, highly recommend it.  You have to go check it out.  I have already used the name tag in my journal.  OK enough drooling over the packaging!  Let's see what I got now!  First up, we got these stamp stickers which look so good in both my planner and my journal....
