Stationery Sunday: Planner Sleeve.

 Hello Loves! For January and maybe even February (depending on the weather) I’ve decided to house my planner in this beautiful crochet sleeve. My planner looks so cozy and snug. And it fits beautifully.  The sleeve is from Apratim_15 on IG.

Friday Favourites: Embroidery + Tea + Cold Days + Bookishness.

Embroidered Things and Things made with hands and love.  Reading an old book. I am still trying to include my older books into my reading, and also the few second hand books I own.  Currently Reading The River Sutra by Gita Mehta.   Avocado Toast and Sandwich for an easy dinner.  Positive reinforcement from a bookmark, always a good thing.  A highlighter I like.  And my book wrapped in a book jacket. The jacket is from Handivity Designs.   Tea ☕ on a cold day.  So so so grateful for the weather being good here finally. More 🙏 please.

Blogmas Day -17! Sunday-ing

Sundays are for....  Staying in bed as long as possible.  Reading.  Coffee in Christmassy mugs.  Planning out my week ahead.  Nutella and sweet treats in general.  Cozy crochet booksleeves to keep my books toasty.   My Sunday was a slow and cozy respite from a difficult week.  Thankful for a day of rest and relative quiet.

Slow Sunday {Blogmas Day- 11}

 Hello, hello, Today was such a restful and lazy day! The perfect Slow Sunday after weeks!  Didn't do much apart from reading, some journaling and bingeing some shows. Perfection!  This was me, pretty much (minus the plants)!  This is our tiny Christmas tree! We gave away our old and taller Christmas tree in 2017 to an orphanage- no regrets! So, we got a smaller one. Maybe we'll get a bigger one next year as we have so many more ornaments!  Lights are up! My December end- early Jan TBR! An impressive pile, if I say so myself! Our tiny Christmas village! Has one 2.5 houses but it is still cute!  Have a great week ahead, guys!

Haul: Book Sleeves from Sangrah.

Hello Loves! Time to share some adorable bookish goodies I've recently added to my life.  You know I love a good book sleeve...a little too much some might say. A few months ago, I came across Sangrah on IG and ordered some goodies from them. They recently had some amazing offers and some new prints (not on sale) and I treated myself to some book-sleeves.  Here are my newest, squishy sleeves in all their glory.  I have done a haul showing my loot from them last time, you can see that post here.   Prints, Prints, Prints.  All very bookish.  Here is the first one, slightly with a vintage vibe. I love the vintage-y stack of books and the bundle of letters.  This one is a perfect size for a Kindle or an iPad Mini or a small paperback. My sister is using it for her Kindle at the moment.  This one might just be my favourite.  I love everything about this print, the colour and the illustrations.  So so so cute.  I am already using this on...

Monday Moods: A Very Floral Haul- Book Sleeves, Pouches, Bookmarks from Sangrah

 Hello, hello, Hope your week is off to a great start!  Sharing a recent very floral haul of all kinds of bookish and stationery-ish items from Sangrah Collective! They are an organization that empowers underprivileged housewives by making handmade fabric products.  You can check them out here on their Instagram !  These items are from their floral collection and are so pretty and well-made!  To start with here is a pouch (big enough to hold pens, pencils and even a few stationery items like washi tapes, glue runners etc.) and one of their book sleeves!  Three fabric bookmarks- squishy but not chunky. Very cute. They have a multitude of fabric options available, so check them out to pick what you like.  These are the two pouches we got. Like I said, big enough to hold pens, pencils, highlighters. Also, wide enough to hold washi tapes and other supplies. My sister uses hers to keep her stickers and some washi samples. ...

Monthly Favourites: April 2022.

 Hello Loves!  The last Friday of the month means it's time to list my Monthly Favourites for the month.  I'll be honest, April has been horrendous to me. I am not even joking or exaggerating. April has historically also never been very good to be. It was the month of school results when I was a kid. It was the start of summer, my least favourite time of the year and it was exactly a year ago when I caught Covid and I am still, to this damn day dealing with it's aftermath.  April is not my favourite.  Still, I was excited to jump into this month. Excited to read some good books~ mostly all Bengali and watch a ton of films and make the most of this month. Celebrate Bengali New Year and do small things of joy.  Well, not everything went to plan.  My skin fell apart. Pretty much all of this month has involved acne all over my chin and cheeks. Painful and infuriating.  Then I had some gum issues.  And I have had another flare up of carpal tunnel....

Monday Moods: Kindle and Book Sleeve from Taaga by Reema.

 Hello Loves!  How has your long weekend been?  Mine was film filled. I watched a ton of stuff and will do another batch of TV and film recommendations soon!  Today to ease into the new week, I am sharing a belated haul of beautiful things from Taaga by Reema .  I got these beauties on my birthday and I took these pictures on my main camera, my Canon camera and I had forgotten all about them. Because sadly, in the last two years I have rarely picked up my camera! Sad!  But today I managed to finally transfer said images and here we are with a beautiful little haul.  I have bought from Taaga numerous times in the last year. I love the prints she stocks and I love the many, many things you can get from her shop.  I have bought everything from Backpacks. Tote Bags, Kindle and Book Sleeves and multiple pouches and even a pencil case. I have loved everything she's made for us and I highly recommend you go check her out and get something beautiful.
