Colours of my Life.

  Hope you had a lovely Holi.  I haven't actively played Holi in years.  My Holi consisted of eating yum food and gujiyas. And listening to some classic Holi tunes that the building opposite mine was, blasting 😆 Here are some bits of colour from my life lately.  Bookmarks.  A plethora of markers that I love.  New ebooks.  Ice-Cream Sundaes.  Some new summer clothes.  Plushies and Books.  Art in picture books. ❤

Monday Moods: Some Blues.

 Monday Blues.  Some hints of blues from my camera roll.  📸 A pretty tiny bookmark. From Plain Paper Page on IG.  A fabric ring from Mela by Shreya that I love  A blue blockprint sheet and a book that made me a little blue.  An armful of bangles.  A tote from Lific and a phone cover from Taaga. Love how well they go together.  And finally the bluest skies. Not a cloud in sight. Everyday views out my window.

Haul: Embroidered Jewellery from Rainbow Tales.

 Hello Loves!  If you know me, you know I love love love things made by hand and I have a special soft spot for embroidered things. Both my Grandmothers were skilled embroiderers, so every time I buy a piece of embroidered something, I feel like it's something my Thamma and Dida would like.  :)  We've bought from Rainbow Tales and Rhichita before, a couple of time and we love her work and her artistry.  We recently bought a few pendants and two brooches and they are so lovely.  Here's a little look.  Here are the necklaces.  This is an edit of small pieces and I love them. So much more wearable and easy to just throw on.  I love the tiny florals so much. The lavender ones might be my favourite but I do love the little bee so damn much. So cute and see how neat everything is.  These are the brooches and they are so lovely.  Florals again because clearly I can't have enough.  :)  Do go check out her shop and treat yourself ...

Things I Love & Am Grateful For. {Blogmas Day- 23.}

 Today we just talk about the things that make me happy and things I am immensely grateful for.  Going out, especially with people I like. Dressing up. Bookshop hangs.  And cute little backpacks.  All good things.  Home and it's many comforts, mostly my books and spots to curl up and read in.  My planners and journals.  A place to put my thoughts away.  Festive vibes.  And Christmassy mugs.  Little joys often bring the biggest smiles.  The others things I am super grateful for////  Kind People.  Family. A spot of gossip.  Laughs.  Art.  Light.  Non-anxious days.  Fun dreams.  Day dreaming.  Music, especially older music, the kind I have million memories attached to.  Alone time.  New notebooks.  Ink Pens.  Cake.  Sleeping well.  ~~~~

General Whimsy: Coffee Moments.

 Life Happens and Coffee Helps.  A lot.  Coffee is my Sacha Pyaar (True Love).  :)  Love this yellow sunshine mug and this fluffy little cloud.  This is a newest addition to my Mug Collection it's from Nilay Studio and I love it.  I also adore this whole frame.  Coffee and some gorgeous, gorgeous art.  Front and center is this stunning portrait from Joyeeta that was a very, very kind birthday gift from her back in 2020.  I love this lady so much. She reminds me of my Thamma.  Coffee and Books, a match made in heaven and my most cherished morning rituals.  Coffee with a side of books. Including some new book mail, the new Janice Pariat which is a chunky little gorgeous book that I can't wait to read soon..I might start it today itself.  Sitting pretty and slightly precariously.  Iced-coffee forever. I am not a fan of hot coffee. I only have hot coffee if it's properly cold and it's never really properly cold in Mumbai,...

Friday Favourite: Haul from Kuuuusum--- Painted Circle Bag and Pouches.

 Hello Loves!  Hope this Friday is treating you well.  :)  It's a rainy one in my corner of the world.  For this week's Friday Faves, I want to share a small but beautiful haul from a small shop. One that I came across on IG and bought from back in April I think. The shop is called Kuuuusum and it's owner makes some truly lovely thing.  I love the things we got from the shop and I am so in love with the gorgeous painted creations.  We got three things in total.  Two pouches, that are quite large and roomy.  And one circle sling.  Here is everything.  This Maa Lokhi Sling was love at first sight.  Look at how utterly stunning this is.  I can't wait to carry this out, might just save it for Pujo.  :)  So so so pretty.  The painting is flawless.  The bag itself is fairly roomy.  If you know us, you know how much we love pouches and can't pass up a beautiful pouch.  This one we loved and my siste...

Haul: Painted Totes and Pouch from Ayenaa.

 Hello Loves!  Time to share a little haul from recent times.  I love all things handmade and painted and things that are unique.  I came across Ayenaa on IG a while back I had to get myself some of her beautiful creations.  We, sister and I, picked two totes. One pouch and one sling bag.  Here is what we got.  This is the pouch. Look at the beautiful art and look at those colours.  This is the tote.  Look how gorgeous.  I love the woman and the bird. This one my sister picked out, she loves birds and we love the old fashioned Bengali vibe of this one.  I also got myself this circle sling bag. The oodles of yellow and the this portrait really called out to me.  The bag itself is quite roomy and wonderful and even though it's small, it will fit all of my essentials. I also like that the strap is cotton and not leather or PVC, it goes well with the vibe of the bag.  And finally I got this beautiful owl bag for myself. I LOV...

Monday Moods: Haul from Craft's Bite- Pouches + Sling Bag + Notebook.

 Hello Loves!  This Monday let's share some Small Shop Love. I came across Craft's Bite on IG a few weeks ago and really liked their prints and the many things they make. They have website and I browsed and bought a few things to try and I am happy to report I really love everything we got from them.  Let's jump in and see all the pretty things I got.  If you know us, you know we love pouches and we use them for a bunch of reasons. To keep our pens and pencils and art supplies organised and to even keep our handbags organised.  So when we see a cute pouch, we can't resist it.  :)  This mint floral number is so stunning and my sister intends to use it as a make-up pouch for her handbag.  Love this print.  I got this simple pen slip to hold two pens at best and I wanted something like this to keep a few pens handy when I am journaling or planning. Love the colours on this one and the shop actually sent me two pens too!  How sweet!  W...
