Hello 2025 + First Day of the Year.

Hello Loves and a very, very Happy New Year to you πŸŒŸπŸŽŠπŸŽ‰πŸŽ€πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸŒŸ

I hope 2025 treats you & me with kindness and brings us peace and joy.

My day began with my beautiful planners and journals and I wrote my yearly goals and made some lists (you know that makes me happy!).
A great way to start my year and a new month.

Last night we had a chill night in.
Started the year with some cake and by watching Feluda, the classic Sonar Kella.
Can't think of a better way to start my year than with Ray.

My word for the year is Grace.
I want to give myself so much more Grace and also give Grace to the World and People around me.

I know it's possibly overrated but I love new beginnings and the promise of a fresh start.
I love stepping into a new year and starting new planners and journals and setting goals.
I like doing a reset.
I love new years.

Had coffee in a new mug.
I love my calander for the year.

And I started my year with a book haul. I wanted my first purchase of the year to be books. And late last night, in the early hours of 2025, I bought myself 4 books.

Finally added War and Peace to my shelves and I am hoping to read it this year.
Slowly in tiny installments, I am going to make my way through this magnum opus.
Wish me luck.

This is what I wore.
A matra for the year~ Take it Easy.

The start to the year was perfect, well nearly perfect.
I have a swollen gum and am in a world of pain. So I've been gargling with salt water and icing my cheek. Not an ideal situation but..the rest of it was great. I am just hoping this doesn't lead me a dentist. I hope the swelling goes down by itself.
