Today was a mix of sleep, slowing down, glorious sunset and some quality time with my planners and journals.
A day for relative quiet and some respite from a hard week.
Grateful for the little things and little joys. Like having my window open again after being jammed shut for weeks. Or having running water after two whole weeks.
Each day I find myself falling a little out of love with city living and the desire to run away to the hills is very high.
Maybe some day, if I am lucky enough, I'll have a little refuge in the hills, away from the noise and dust and chaos of the city.
Don't get me wrong. I love Mumbai with all my heart. But sometimes every thing about my home seems a little too much.
