I love flowers. Just the mere sight of them fills my heart with joy. My grandmother was an avid gardener. Her green thumb was legendary. My mother too, enjoys gardening. Me..I am more comfortable with having a pretty garden to look at. I am not sure if I'd be any good at growing my own garden.
These flowers were all in bloom in the front and back lawns of the Tea Gardens where I spent a few days this week. I loved spending my time just sitting amidst the greenery and taking in the colour and bloom.

My plans are simple.
I have a dinner party at my cousin's home tomorrow night...where I'll be meeting some very dear family friends after absolute ages, said family friend is a famous Bengali film actor and very sweet. I am excited to see him and his lovely wife.
Sunday I plan on just doing a bit of reading...something that has taken a back seat...but I don't mind. I am rather enjoying my time here with less reading and more people and more conversation.
