Blogmas Day- 3: A Winter's Evening in Glenary's Darjeeling.

Hello!

Today let's go back in time to a wonderfully foggy winter's evening I spent in Glenary's Darjeeling.
Glenary's is an institution. No visit to Darjeeling is complete without a stop at this famous cafe and patisserie. It is a perfect spot to stop for a cup of coffee, a slice of cake and people watch. The sheer number of people coming through the doors is enough to keep you occupied.
:)

We went here on first arriving in Darjeeling for a late lunch and a much needed cappuccino.
It was late afternoon and perfectly cloudy and as dusk set in the clouds began to float down to us.
It was perfect!
Seriously, perfect!

Glenary's is a Darjeeling institution and no visit to the Queen of the Hills is complete without a pitstop at Glenary's for their amazing desserts and yum food.

They now have an outside seating area, which is perfect for mildly sunny days.

Views from the outside seating area.

Winter blooms! The hills are full of them!

The groovy art deco style ceiling!

The mist rolled in around 4 pm and everything looked magical!

Lights and a weathervane! Love, love, love!

If you visit Darjeeling, do stop by Glenary's and sample their desserts and some of their amazing pub-grub style food.
