Blogmas Day 17- Top 5 Instagram Stores I've Discovered in 2017

Hello, hello!
I've had a very lazy Sunday! So lazy that I almost forgot to do this post!

So, anyhoodles, today, I wanted to show some love to five favourite Instagram Stores (in other words indie brands that sell via Instagram) that I've shopped from and LOVED this year. I hope some of you find these recommendations useful and support these wonderful, talented young entrepreneurs!

The Burlap People (@theburlappeople

The Burlap People make eco-friendly bags out of treated jute. These bags are so well made and so beautiful that you can't just stop at getting one! So, we ordered two! The one pictured here is my sister's Modified Tote in the Tulsi print. It's super spacious and easily fits her laptop and all the other things she lugs around to work.

2. By Paulami (@by_paulami)

Paulami makes beautiful silk bags, jewellery and broaches! The one pictured above is her Jamini Roy-inspired bag that my sister fell totally in love with and carried around during Durga Puja! Go check out her page for beautiful and quirky jewellery and bags.

3. Comical Cyanide/ Manasi Deshpande (@comicalcyanide)

Manasi Deshpande is an artist- very a talented and funny creator of comics. We found her on Instagram earlier this year and were thrilled to discover that she has an online store, where you can go right now and get yourself a lovely 2018 calendar!

4. Chiaroscuro Bags (@chiaroscurobags)

Technically, Chiaroscuro has an online store, so it is not really an Instagram Store as such. But, to be fair, I did discover them on Instagram, become obsessed with their bags and jumped on to order myself a couple or three online! #bagladyproblems

So, if you are in the market for some beautifully made leather bags that will stand the test of everyday use and are spacious and made with care, then Chiaroscuro is the store for you!

Picutred here is my sister's Lazy Bailey (a tote) in their Honey Almond Leather. It is so stunning!!

5. The Patakha Closet (@thepatakhacloset)

The Patakha Closet is a Kanpur-based brand that makes beautiful Jacquard and faux-leather bags, accessories, laptop cases, wallets and, now, even cotton clothing items!

Their products are beautiful and so, so, so well made! We have this laptop sleeve, a wallet and a pencil pouch from them and each of those items are of such great quality!

To buy, you need to DM them on Instagram and pay via PayTm.

I hope you enjoyed this post and that you found some of these recommendations useful.

See you tomorrow!
