Monthly Favourites/// October 2016.

Hello!  October was a long and lovely month.  It was full of festivity and joy and good tidings.  You were super lovely October.  And I read 12 books! Not bad at all!  :)  Hope your October was good too.  Let's see some of my favourites from October. Oh..I completely skipped listing my faves from August and September on the blog. I guess it completely skipped my mind and I didn't have that many things I loved in those months.  But now on to October... 1. Durga Pujo/// Of course this is my No. 1 favourite in the month of October. A Bengali's biggest festival. This year I went to some 12 pandals. Ate delicious food and spent some quality time with my family.  2. Favourite Book/// This was my favourite book bought and read in October. It made me delightfully happy.  3. Diwali/// The Festival of Lights neatly wrapped up the end of the month. Sparklers. Sweets. Rangoli. The best part is the general air of festivity.

Happy Diwali 2016!

Wishing all of my fellow bookworms a very Happy Diwali! May the Festival of Lights bring Joy and Light into your life.  :)  I hope all of you are having a very Happy and Safe Diwali.  My favourite things about Diwali are.. Lights. Diyas. Sweets. Phooljhari. Rangoli. Candles. Oh! The Joys!  :)

Stationery Haul/// Magnetic Bookmarks from Hello Paper Cat!

Hello!  A few weeks back I did a Wishlist post featuring some bookmarks I had found online and fallen in love with. Soon after, my sister and I decided to make a little order and get some of these beauties. Seriously, there is no such thing as too many bookmarks. The more the merrier!  :)  Let's  see some of the beauties that have come to light up my reading experience.  :)  We also got some of these stickers as a freebie. Such a nice surprise.  This princess was a freebie that was kindly sent to us.  Isn't she the cutest?  Cacti lovin'! I loved these the first time I saw them and we just had to have them!  Sloth!  :) I am so in love with him.  Elizabeth & Darcy!  I mean come on, how could I resist?!  Sheep cutie.  I loved their sweet little faces.  Apart from the sheer adorableness of these bookmarks, I also love how vibrant they are. The quality is also very good. Plu

Monday Moods: Meet my Hobesh-- A Sloth Cushion!

Hello!  Another Monday and another new week! I hope this week treats you well. For this week's Monday Moods I want to share one of my newest LOVES...Hobesh! Hobesh is a sloth..a cushion sloth. I love sloths. I find them simply delightful and sweet and slow and so freaking chill and cute. I hope to one day meet a real sloth. But for now Hobesh will do.  He was my main Durga Pujo gift from my sister. Ah! I am so in love.  He is the squishiest of things and so incredibly well-made.  We got it from Whistleburg, an Etsy store.  Go check it out for some seriously adorable things.  Look at that derpy face! So dorky. So cute! Just looking at him makes me so happy.  Even his butt (back) is so cute!  Hobbies sitting pretty with a serious book. Fun Fact: Both Hobesh and this book The Narrow Road to the Deep North come from Australia.  :)  Have a fantastic week ahead folks!  :)
