 July begins quietly, full of humidity and sweet mangoes. New plushie friends and hoping for rain! 

 Hello Loves!  Today I just want to love on my newest squish friend.  A lil Froggie from Strawbabie.  I mean look at her!  I am obsessed.  OBSESSED.  🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸 I have wanted her since I first saw her, back when she was first launched but I told myself I had to be a grown-up and not cave in and get every single cute plushie/crochet cutie I see!  I had to be mature.  This firm self-talk lasted for a few months and as December rolled around, my resolve to be a grown ass woman fell by the wayside and my urge to Treat Myself took center stage.  And here she is.  I love her so much!  Her face makes me smile every single time.  She brings me so much joy.  I love things like these.  Silly. Sweet. Handmade. Cute.  I am so glad I got her, she is worth every paisa.  :)  Go see if you want one for yourself.  

Things I Miss.  Home!    Two happy girls.  My books.  My precious books.  Sweet faces.  My corner full of books.  Can you tell how much I miss my books!?  Backpack.  Stationery bits.  A sloth.  Kindle.  More books.  All red spines.  My cost bed.  Cushions and plushies galore. The view out my bedroom window on a rainy day from last year.  Hello Loves!  I've been away from home, Bombay, for six months now.  Six months.  I miss home.  I miss my books.  My bed.  My plushies.  My old life.  Don't get me wrong, I love being here too.  I do.  And I am so grateful that we have a place to be and stay safe when things back home seem to be on fire.  But ghar to ghar hai na.  I don't even know when I'll be able to head back. Not any time soon, not when things are so bleak.  I will be here and find joy in life here.  :) 

Hello Loves!  Meet a new love of mine.  She arrived all pretty and happy this morning and seriously isn't she the cutest?!  I still can't quite decide on a name for her, I am confused between Phooltushi and Neeltushi.  She is from Sew Me Dolls and she is seriously so freaking cute.  I am so in love!  Sumi makes the most darlingggg toys and this is my second plushie from her and I have a feeling there will be more in the future.    Such a sweet face!  I adore elephants in general,  Wise. Hello Loves! Today's post is a glimpse into my day.  & Just some little things that sparked a lot of joy today.    Our bougainvillea and these beautiful leaves that are just as stunning.  Coffee in a new mug.  A new Sherlock Themed mug!  What's not to love?!  Quotes galore.  It's from Book Anatomy, but it's sadly out of stock right now. I think I grabbed the last piece.  Thank God!  Coffee is a thing of joy.  My sister makes us our morning coffee and it's hands down my favourite part of my morning routine.  The best part of my day was this little beauty.  Her name is Tillie and she's a spiffy little bunny from Oony by Anab.  I am so in love with her, she's so freaking cute and please notice her little scarf and her satchel!  She came with an extra set of accessories, a scarf and bag in purple.  Uff! Too cute!  :)  Apart from this there was chutney sandwiches, rains and naps and some reading....

  Some birthday Bling.  A very thoughtful gift from my friend Meenakshi. An alphabet pendant from Prerto.  I wore it today and felt a little bit fancy and dressed up after months!  A dollie.  A new friend, her name is Tuntuni and she is a thing of joy and beauty and oodles of cuteness.  My sister got this super adorable doll from SewMe Dolls and I am so in love.  A birthday cake.  A Piggy who was cute and yum!  Some birthday reading.  Ruskin Bond on my birthday is a little bit of a tradition.  Read this book in one sitting and it gave me quite a few helpful pointers on How To Be A Writer.  My birthday was a quiet and happy one.  Reading.  Cake.  Yummy Food.  And so many birthday wishes and love.  I feel incandescently happy and grateful to be here and alive and well and I feel so loved.  It's been a good one!  Thank You  & More Please!

Hello!  How are thing with you?  The last few days have gone by in a blur. I swear, I intended to be better at blogging during this time. Write more. Do more reviews.  But..honestly...between all the house work, cooking and worrying constantly being productive is too much of an ask.  I applaud anyone who's making the most of these days and learning something new and diminishing their TBR, but me..I am allowing myself to feel the things I am feeling, losing myself in a good book or two and just cooking up comfort food.  That's how I am coping.  A journal entry apt for this occasion.  Our lockdown has been extended till the 30th of April, it came as no surprise. My city is struggling, the cases are above 1000 and this lockdown is absolutely necessary. Devastating but needed. I am no stranger to being homebound. I am happy to be home. It's just this whole stress and worry and scarcity of things that bothers me.  Add to ...

Hello!  This corner of my home is full of my books, all stacked pretty precariously atop each other.  Most of these are my unread books. I kept them front and centre, right in my line of vision so that I remember to pick them up soon enough.  Also seen here are some of my most beautiful books.  My Puffin Bloom Books.  My Famous Five Boxset.  I also have some dolls and other knick knacks around my books.  These handmade dolls in these darling outfits look so good sitting with my books.  I also tend to keep my newest books out here in this stack, once I've read the books they make way to my bookshelves.  I love that my books are such a big part of my home's decor.  The moment you step into my home, you notice my books. It's pretty much the firs thing you see and nothing makes me happier.  :) 

Sunkissed Converse.  Kitty re-usable tote.  And a Zara shopping bag with 2 tees in it.  :)  An ordinary glance into my home.  Plushies from this place called Connect Zoey.  The Raccoon is called Stephen Strange.  :) A cozy corner of my bedroom.  Full of plushies and cushions and pillows, a perfect place to read and get cozy on a rainy day.  A happy pile up.  :) Of course, no mention of my home is complete without a few mentions about my book filled space.  I love that one of the first things you notice about my home as soon as you walk in is my overwhelming number of books. I've had so many people comment on my precious books the minute the walk in. Family friends, strangers and even various service folks.  It's always complimentary and kind and makes me feel very happy.
