 Hello Loves!  Today was  a sweet and slow day,  full of fun conversations and laughter and bookshop hops and sooooooo much joy.  I want to document the happy and wholesome days on my blog, it's one of my goals for 2024, but since I had a good day today I wanted to make a little, almost journal entry about it.  Went to Town.. South Bombay, my old very beloved stomping grounds.  Went to two bookshops and unleashed my inner bookworm and got myself some books. A lot of books I had never even heard of, that's the beauty of a bookshop~ you find new and different books.  Met my sister's bestie and her kids and husband and laughed and caught up and reminisced.  Listened to music 🎶🎶🎶 of the party kind on my way back home.  It was good.  So good ✨📚☕🥰💖✨

Summer is here.  And I am making a decided effort to find the silver lining and make the most of this season and not be such a frump about the heat and dust and humidity.  So yesterday morning I made a whole list of things I love about summer. Instead of my Morning Pages, I sat and did a deep dive into things I enjoy about summer.  :)    I went all out and found matching stickers to do up my spread.  Stickers are from The Bodhi Shop, I got two kits from them recently and I am really pleased with the quality of the stickers and other paraphernalia.  Here is my motley list of summer loves.  In no particular order.  🍋🍍🌻🍉🌿🍈 Summer also means summer salads. I avoid cooking in a hot kitchen as much as I humanly can.  Today we just talk about the things that make me happy and things I am immensely grateful for.  Going out, especially with people I like. Dressing up. Bookshop hangs.  And cute little backpacks.  All good things.  Home and it's many comforts, mostly my books and spots to curl up and read in.  My planners and journals.  A place to put my thoughts away.  Festive vibes.  And Christmassy mugs.  Little joys often bring the biggest smiles.  The others things I am super grateful for////  Kind People.  Family. A spot of gossip.  Laughs.  Art.  Light.  Non-anxious days.  Fun dreams.  Day dreaming.  Music, especially older music, the kind I have million memories attached to.  Alone time.  New notebooks.  Ink Pens.  Cake.  Sleeping well.  ~~~~

 After a very, very long time (don't ask, it is slightly shameful!), I went out into the world today!  Went to a lovely bookstore that's been on my list for ages and did a spot of book buying and beauty shopping! Ate some yum food and just had a lovely day out people watching, meeting with friends and having a good laugh!  Here are some pics :)  A glimpse of my outfit and my cute mini backpack. The backpack is made of jute with leather trimmings and straps and  is from The LIFIC .  I stuck on some of my favourite pins and badges. These are ones I've had for a while now. Some are from Ali Express, some from Etsy.  We attended my sister's work Christmas party and so, both of us are in red because there was a dress code- only red, green, white and gold colours allowed.  Hello Loves!  I love jewellery and beaded and boho jewellery especially takes me back to my college days and reminds me of walking in flea markets and finding something beautiful and quirky to wear.  When I found Gemini Art and Craft I was reminded of the kind of jewellery I wore as a college student and I needed some of her creations in my life.  I got 3 earrings from her back in February and ordered a fresh batch of earrings this month too.  Here are my new acquisitions.  These earrings were love at first sight.  I love the quirkiness of these beauties.  Love the mix of colours, the textures and the beads and wool and cowries.  I can't wait to wear them.  The Goa vibe is so strong in these babies.  Love love love.  These are made from papier mache...I think.  They are super light weight and so pretty.  Immensely wearable.  These fish friends I bought for my sister.  A beautiful piece that will go with so...
