 Hello, hello, We come to you today with some very random (and not new) movie recommendations.  Let's get into it, shall we?  1. Wait Till Helen Comes (YouTube) First of all, if you want to watch a bunch of horror and thriller movies and are not finding anything on your usual subs, then go to YouTube and search for horror movies and you will find a bunch of not-so-bad movies!  Wait Till Helen Comes is a decent horror movie about a family that moves into a church-turned-into-a-home and strange things start happening.  2. Devil's Diary (YouTube) A teen/ high school horror flick. Kinda inspired by The Craft but is still its own thing. A mysterious blank journal that makes evil desires come true falls into the hands of the high school outcast. All kinds of evil shenanigans happen.  3. Solstice (2008 movie) (YouTube)  A pretty decent horror-thriller movie. The print on YouTube is not the best but it is okay if you are watching it on your tablet or phone. We...

 It is that time of the year!  The time where we share our favourite books, TV/ OTT series and other favourite things of 2023!  Kicking off the list-y posts with our Top 5 K-Dramas of 2023!  Let's go!  1. The Glory  The Glory was, hands down, one of my favourite shows of 2023! It is a brilliant show with fabulous performances but a dark, potentially triggering, theme. The show follows the journey of a young woman seeking revenge from the kids, who brutally bullied her in high school. It is a hard watch at times but a brilliant, brilliant show.  2. Mr. Queen  Mr. Queen is an older show. I think it is from 2020 but it showed up on Netflix this year and is one of my favourite K-drama love stories! It is cute, hilarious and so, so sweet! I loved the setting, the characters and just everything about it!  3.  Hey, hey! My sister and I love mugs! We have an unhealthy obsession with mugs and have collected a decent amount of them over the years.  We bought some new ones to add to our collection this year and so, we thought of sharing some of our favourite and most-used mugs of 2023!  Let's get started!  This cute Teapot and cup set is from Weaving Homes and I love it! I have always wanted a cute teapot and this one is single serve and just perfect!  Orange Skies is a favourite store of ours to get pretty ceramic mugs and this cream coloured mug with tiny speckles is my sister's favourite!  Nilay Studios has the cutest mugs!  Hello, hello, I hope you are doing well and (if you celebrate) have had a lovely Diwali!  Ours was low-key and quiet but so peaceful.  Sharing some moments from our little celebration.  Our small altar for Goddess Lakshmi.  Sparklers!  Hello, hello, January is almost coming to an end and before it does, I thought I'd share some of our most loved content- TV and film- that we watched this month! Without any further ado, let's get into it!  The Pale Blue Eye (Netflix)  A murder mystery featuring a young Edgar Allen Poe. Set in a military academy in New York, The Pale Blue Eye, deals with the brutal murder of a young military cadet. When the local detective (Christian Bale) is called in to investigate, he forms an unusual alliance with another young cadet- Edgar Allen Poe. An interesting and riveting murder mystery movie.  The Wonder (Prime Video) When a young girl in a little Irish village has not eaten anything for over four months, it is assumed to be a divine miracle of sorts. The local parish and some influential men (businessmen, local Lord) decide to get this miracle ratified by calling a Catholic Nun and an English Nurse to observe the girl day and night for two weeks. Feeling a little wistful and missing "real" winter and the various flowers from our garden back in West Bengal.  Not much of a post today, just a wee walk down memory lane.. Hope you've had a good week and yay! it is almost Friday! 

  Hello June! Happy 9th Birthday to this little blog! :)  Started out June by visiting with an aunt and uncle who I had not met in 4 years! Had a lovely adda and PNPC (beloved Bengali acronym for gossip!) session along with yum Bengali snacks!  Sharing some pics of my evening!  Hoping this month is kind to all of us!  My Mom's childhood home's Kaali temple. So many stories and so many fun memories for all of us are held here.  My uncle was a tea planter and is a certified tea taster. He was known for his amazing tea blends whilst he was in the business. Even today, he gave us some really great Assam tea! But this, oh betrayal!, is coffee! :)  Even a short visit ten-minutes away meant getting out of my pyjamas and into some "outside world" clothes! Wore a soft cotton kurti from Inji and this lovely handmade pendant by Banerii. Both bought off their Instagram stores!  Have a great month ahead, guys! 

 Hello, hello, Hope your week is off to a great start!  Sharing a recent very floral haul of all kinds of bookish and stationery-ish items from Sangrah Collective! They are an organization that empowers underprivileged housewives by making handmade fabric products.  You can check them out here on their Instagram !  These items are from their floral collection and are so pretty and well-made!  To start with here is a pouch (big enough to hold pens, pencils and even a few stationery items like washi tapes, glue runners etc.) and one of their book sleeves!  Three fabric bookmarks- squishy but not chunky. Very cute. They have a multitude of fabric options available, so check them out to pick what you like.  These are the two pouches we got. Like I said, big enough to hold pens, pencils, highlighters.  Hello, hello! How is this the first day of April already?! Welcoming this new month with some positive manifestations for me and you and the whole world! That we all may have some happiness and health and peace!  Hello April! Be good! Be Kind! Be Fun! Sharing some cute gel pens that arrived in the mail from my most recent order from Scooboo !  These are three sets of gel pens from Color Lab. They are so cute and smooth! Let's take a closer look at each of these, shall we?  This set has shades of pink and purple and a black pen (that's what the colour of the refill of the white pen is). These are super vibrant and very smooth.  These are called fibre gel pens and are a bit wetter but still as vibrant as the ones above. Love the mix of greens and orange and brown.
