Hello Loves!  Where are the rains? It's nearly end of June and the rains are playing hard to get.  So here's a little throw back to these glorious flowers in the hills of Kurseong.  Oh God take me back to the hills.    Flowers + Mountains are a sure shot way to make me happy.  I cannot wait to go back to the hills. 

Happy World Environment Day.  Nature is the one thing we all have in common, something we all have to share and cherish.  I can only hope we learn to treat our environment better and take care of it and save it our future generations.    Plants and Flowers always cheer me up!  Pretty leaves.  There is so much beauty, tranquility and joy to be found in nature.  :) 

Dear Diary,  Life seems too hard some days.  Everything feels too heavy and nothing seems to be in our control. We thought 2020 was the worst thing we had to deal with but now its actually seems pleasant compared to the hell fire this year is turning out to be.  I know all of us are struggling with, none of this is easy, none of us was built to for this level of constant stress and distress.  I wake up every morning expecting the other shoe to drop.  It feels like one thing after another.  A devastating second wave. Dead.  Illness.  Helplessness.  And now we have Mother Nature coming in with Cyclones.  Eh.  Life seems too much.  And today we learnt that several social media apps may get banned from tomorrow.  Great.  Just great.  Ugh.  Seriously, this year won't let up.  I hope wherever you are, you are safe and sound and well and finding ways to cope with this unending shit fest.  Stay strong my l...

Hello Loves!  What a lovely day it's been!  Today, I left my home for the first time since October.  I dressed up. Hello Loves!  It's been so long since I've been on the open road and and seen open blue skies. There is something magical and healing about being out in nature.  Roads leading to adventure and open spaces.  Today marks one year since I went out for fun.  I went shopping to my local mall.  Shopped.  Walked around.  Bought a few things.  Was around strangers without worrying about things.  It's been even longer since I went on holiday.  So much longer.  For now I look at old pictures and sigh deeply.    Sky. Trees. Canal. &  Water Lillies.  Trees.  Is there anything more lovely?!  I hope someday soon I'll be back here.  :) 

 Hello, hello, Welcome to another edition of Friday favourites!  Today I want to share some favourites from my sister's phone.  These little flowers just showed up one day in our bed of clovers! Not fully sure what these are, but look how cute!  This is what these flowers look like when they're fully bloomed!  This floral tote is from Choti Si Asha and it is such a lovely, roomy tote. The Kindle cover is from a store on Amazon called Jaipur Classic and is so nicely made.  Some new hibiscus buds have bloomed and we're so happy because this little plant was attacked by mealy bugs and barely survived! Nature's resilience is a thing of joy!  We'd ordered some junk journals and journaling papers from a store on Instagram called BRWN . The journals are very well made and the papers are quite diverse and a mix of vintage and other printed bits.  A beautiful floral bookmark from Painted Petunia. Hello, hello! Hope you are all excited about this weekend? I know I am! Not for very major things, but just for minor things like expecting a mango delivery and trying out some new recipes! It is the small joys, people! The small joys that make these Quarantine Days worth living! We've had a bit of rain earlier this week and every day since, we've been blessed with the most vivid and stunning sunsets! I don't live by the beach, but even this little tree-filled view out of my window has filled my heart with joy every evening! Here are some of my favourite sunsets from this week! We don't ever get purple-pink skies in Bombay, but look! Look at this stunningly gorgeous purple-pink sunset! There were so many others in Bombay, who snapped different versions of yesterday's gorgeous sunset! Open roads.  Ashoka trees, home to a lot of birds that come back home every evening.  The ceiling at the Cooch Behar Palace.  Loved the bright shades of blue used in the interiors of the palace.  The Gajoldoba Barrage.  Hello!  This first Monday of the year is rather blue.  I hope the rest of the Mondays in 2020 are brighter and happier. 

Hello!  Is there anything better than seeing miles of greenery?
