 March is slowly coming to a end and these last few days of the month have been good to me. First up, it's been raining, giving us a much needed respite from the heat. We are supposed to have rains all week and I am so grateful to have a break from summer. Today already feels so cool and has me reaching for my quilt.  Bliss.  The last few days have included some bizarreness, what with people slapping people at the Oscars! For shame!  I still can't quite believe that really happened!!!  Apart from Pop Culture meltdowns, there has been happy mails, good meals and some seriously good reading.  My dearest Anupriya sent me some belated birthday presents in the mail and they made my day. Little things that I love so much.  A pouch. (Which I am already using to store my Washi Tapes)  Scrunchies.  Soap.  Two adorable bookmarks.  A notebook.   My friend Meenakshi sent me a very special Birthday gift.  A pendant with a P on it for Pooja.  :)  I love it so much.  My first piece of jewellery ever was a gold pendant with my name on it. It was a gift from my Thamma. when I was born.  Sadly it didn't last very long.  Why you wonder?  Well, because I began teething and chewed it up.  I don't even know how that happens.  But I was one tough and hungry baby so I really chewed up most of it, now all that's left of it it a bit of gold and half of a P.  So this pendant from my soul sister felt like a blast from the past and so full of love.  I wore it on my birthday and felt all dressed up and fancy, a change since most of my days in the past year have been dressed in comfy home clothes and little to no jewellery barring my everyday silver.  So it felt good to feel a tad bit dressed up on my birthday and wear something a very dear friend sent me.  :)  It's from ...

  Some birthday Bling.  A very thoughtful gift from my friend Meenakshi. An alphabet pendant from Prerto.  I wore it today and felt a little bit fancy and dressed up after months!  A dollie.  A new friend, her name is Tuntuni and she is a thing of joy and beauty and oodles of cuteness.  My sister got this super adorable doll from SewMe Dolls and I am so in love.  A birthday cake.  A Piggy who was cute and yum!  Some birthday reading.  Ruskin Bond on my birthday is a little bit of a tradition.  Read this book in one sitting and it gave me quite a few helpful pointers on How To Be A Writer.  My birthday was a quiet and happy one.  Reading.  Cake.  Yummy Food.  And so many birthday wishes and love.  I feel incandescently happy and grateful to be here and alive and well and I feel so loved.  It's been a good one!  Thank You  & More Please!
