 Hello Loves! Life’s been busy in the last few days, so I haven’t been reading all that much. This morning I picked up two adorable books and smiled my way through them.  Both have a common theme, they are about life lessons from our furry friends!  One from cats and the other from dogs!  🐶🐾🐈🐕🐈‍⬛🐩🐱🐾🐶 Here’s a look at some of my favourite pages from both books.  Eat. Play. Love. Life Lessons from my Dog by Emma Block: This book is pure love. Adorable, wise and so so beautiful. I read this with a big smile on my face and my heart full of joy, I gave this 5/5 stars and I highly recommend reading it. Now on to the book about cats.  This one has more sass (because cats) and is just as adorable!  Life Lessons from my Cat by Jamie Shelman: This one was sassy and funny and cute as hell. If you love cats, pick this book up, you’ll love it. 

 There's nothing quite like a slow and sloth-like Saturday.  Here's what my day looked like:  Currently Reading: A memoir about love, war and marriage. I am a little bit in and quite intrigued.  New month.  New mug.  Also reading this very interesting book about overthinking and magical thinking. 

  Happy Birthday Mr. Ray 📽📖📽  I am pretty Ray obsessed, everything from his magnificent films to his stories, his creations bring me so much joy.  I plan on reading this book, The Cinema of Satyajit Ray by Bhaskar Chattopaadhyay, through the month and watch, well re-watch some of my favourite Ray films. May is already looks promising ❤

 Hello Loves.  Time for a little book haul.  I bought three books and had one book sent to me from the publishers.  So let’s jump in.  A Star Named Bibha and Other Stories by Anwesha Sengupta, Supurna Banerjee and Simantini Mukhopadhyay ~ A beautiful book about some incredible Indian women. Perfect to read during Women’s History Month.  There are gorgeous portraits and I am reading excited to jump into this amazing book.  Visitors to the House by Shashank Gupta, this one is a novel told in five parts and five perspectives. About a family and from the voices of members of the family. I love this sort of thing and I am really excited to read this.  Savitribai Phule by Reeta Ramamurthy Gupta, another biography about a real hero and a woman we (Indian women) owe so much to.  Hello Loves!  Today is my Birthday.  I turn another year older and definitely wiser.  TBH, I've been a little sad all month long. I really wanted to have a happy birthday month but..instead I've been feeling deeply unhappy.  Guys, I haven't even bought any books this month. And normally, if you've followed me along for any length of time, you know that February is when I go feral and just buy as many books as my heart desires.  Not this year.  Everything feels so out of sync and my heart just feels heavy and out of it.  Meh.  Today was mildly better, I think watching some of old nostalgic films worked.  I watched You've Got Mail again.  And Two Weeks Notice.  And this evening I watched Bhoot.  It was a chill day.  Hello Loves!  If you find yourself in Juhu on a lovely day and have time to kill. I suggest you hop on over to the iconic Prithvi Theatre and find a show to watch.  Eat some good food at their cafe or get a cup of chai.  Soak in their atmosphere and stop at their tiny bookshop and buy a book or two.  It's pretty much what I did a few months ago.  I meant to share these pictures but my phone died literally the same day.  Well, better late than never!  The entrance to the theatre.  I haven't watched a play here in ages.  Hopefully will change than in 2024.  The Cafe.  I didn't go in because it was kinda crowded and it was hot and they don't have AC. So I skipped over to a Third Wave Coffee which was really close by.  The books at Paperback.  I like the curation they had here.  Different sorts of books. A mix of fiction, non-fiction and quite a few books about films and acting.  There is something for everyone...
