Monday Moods: Happy Mail~ Book Tote.

Image
Hello Loves 🤍 Monday was happy in my corner of the world.  Here’s why…. Got this very cute Book Lover tote in the mail. I’m going to make it my book tote. To keep my current reads, my Kindle and iPad in one place.  It’s from Bookscharms store.  I also got a whole bunch of bookmarks, which I’ll share soon.  A happy start to my week.

Totes of the Moment.

I am totally into totes. The last 3 years has seen me become low key, well high key obsessed with totes. I also use them pretty much every single day.  I have a Planner Tote which holds all of my Planners and Journals.  Then I have a reading tote, that holds my current reads and some annotating supplies.  And I have a tote for my Laptop and iPad and Kindle. So three totes are always in circulation.  I change up said totes once in a while..like today.  Moved into a new Planner and Reading Tote, so thought I’d share.  This yellow gingham quilted tote is a recent find. It’s from the brand Orla that I got via Amazon.  I love the Springy and happy vibe and I’ve always loved gingham. This is spacious enough to hold all of my planners and journals.  And it has a zip which is great and keeps my things dust free and safe.  I filled it up and everything fits in just perfectly. It was some slip pockets inside that are perfect to store some of my s...

Blogmas Day-18! Top Totes of 2023.

Image
Hello Loves!  2023 has been the year of Tote Bags for me. I fell in love with tote bags and went a little crazy buying totes all year round and I have no regrets. I mostly bought from small businesses and got the cutest works of art.  Here are some Top Totebags of 2023. In no particular order.. Here we go..  1. Studio Joyeeta: Starting off with a forever fave Joyeeta, who started a merch line and we for two totes (obviously) and this lady is my favourite. Nicely made and featuring Joyeeta's incredible art.  I love it.  Check out her beautiful stuff on her website .  2. Strawbabie: I found this shop on IG and got myself some totes and stickers an other cuties from them. I currently have another order from them on the way to me.  I adore these totes. I used them as a Planner Tote and my Reading tote.  So cute, go check out their shop for some delightful things.  Find them here.  Love their aesthetic and vibe 🎀 3. La Dolce Vita: S...

Blogmas Day-6! Books & Coffee & Totes & Joy.

Image
A sunkissed tote. From a bookshop I hope and pray I get to go to someday.  Got this tote from Nukkad Studio on IG.  Reading in a cafe is such a romcom, main character energy and that cool girl vibe.  I mean, I do enjoy it. But it's also so distracting. I am constantly looking out the window, people watching and eavesdropping.. Not intentionally, but peeps are loud and obviously I can hear every word.  Reading my first ever Naipaul and it's good so far in.  Personally for me.. Nothing beats reading in my own bed. Just the comfort and ease and coziness is unparalleled.  Books and Coffee are a match made in heaven.  Bond and Coffee and dreaming about Landour are my personal favourite trifecta.  And this book and art and coffee filled corner of my parent's home just makes me so happy. Can't wait to go back reunite with my books, and my parents of course.  I have had a sad, anxious and stress filled day today, so I've chosen to look back and...

Haul: Badges/Magnets & Tote Bag from Doodle O Drama.

Image
Hello Loves!  Let's haul something seriously cute today, shall we?  I got some absolute adorable things from Doodle O Drama , a place I've had my eye on for a while, her art is so cute and squishy.  Let's see..  Perpetual Mood.  This one just spoke to me.  Look at his tired little face.  I cannot even with the accuracy of this feeling.  The rest of the gang.  We've put these guys on our Raskog carts, and they add so much quirk to our stationery carts.  Now for the bag.  Emotional Baggage, something we all cart around, but has it ever looked this wholesome?  I think not.  Look at these faces!  I cannot with the cuteness.  Just look at the expressions.  Miffed but cute.  The bag is huge and spacious and very well made and super sturdy.  I used it as my planner bag in March and it held all of my stuff and I think this is the perfect size for daily use and even a spot of travel.  The shop i...

Monday Moods: Summer Staples ~ Journals, Salads, Outfits and Coffee.

Image
Summer is here.  And I am making a decided effort to find the silver lining and make the most of this season and not be such a frump about the heat and dust and humidity.  So yesterday morning I made a whole list of things I love about summer. Instead of my Morning Pages, I sat and did a deep dive into things I enjoy about summer.  :)    I went all out and found matching stickers to do up my spread.  Stickers are from The Bodhi Shop, I got two kits from them recently and I am really pleased with the quality of the stickers and other paraphernalia.  Here is my motley list of summer loves.  In no particular order.  🍋🍍🌻🍉🌿🍈 Summer also means summer salads. I avoid cooking in a hot kitchen as much as I humanly can. Salads, chaats and fuss free meals is how I like to spend most of May.  I eat a plate of fruit on most days.  Watermelon, grapes and of course Mangoes or even a sweet Papaya is my lunch on most days.  The Salad I ha...
