 Dear Diary,  Today was such a good day.  We had cheesecake (for birthday cake). Read good books. Had kheer. Watched a sweet film. Laughed and had a slow and simple day. Had sushi for dinner. 🍣 Celebrated my sister's birthday in a quiet and simple and happy way.  It was a good day 😊 Put flowers in my little vases.  Sushi 🍣  A  Christmas RomCom.  Yes please!  Sweet Treats 🩵 I love slow 🐌 days. 

 Hello Loves!  Here are my first batch of favourites from the year.  Just some random things I have been loving this week.  1. Coffee and Fuzzy Socks have been making my winter evenings and keeping my comfy and cozy.  2. This gorgeous traveler's notebook from The Black Canvas that holds my daily journal is a thing of joy. I recently, as in yesterday, added these adorable paper clips from Kikkik.  3. My planner is giving me life. I am so in love with my Inkbucket planner for 2022. I also love how I've been decorating it. So pleased with how it's been looking.  4. A messy little scene that is how most of my nights look.  Planning.  Journaling.  Writing.  I love nights that end with journaling and taking stock of my day.  5. A chocolate and nut cake from a local baker that is so delicious! Love it. Might order one over the weekend to have with coffee. 

 Hello Loves!  My favourite month of the year is almost over and it's honestly been a month full of joys big and small.  My birthday.  Feeling so loved and cherished.  Celebrations.  Cake.  Good food.  The last days of winters.  Saraswati Pujo.  Writing.  Watching some good shows.  So much amazing things I was gifted and some I treated myself to.  :)  It was a good month.  A quiet month and one that I am so grateful for.  Here are some of my favourites from my favourite little month.  1. Piggy Cake: My birthday cake was a thing of joy. A pink Piggy cake for a girl who's childhood nickname was Piggy thanks to her propensity to pout and make a pig face on demand. It was super cute and delicious too.  2. P Pendant: A gift of love that I wore on my birthday.  P for Pooja.  I love how minimal and lovely this pendant is. 3.   Some birthday Bling.  A very thoughtful gift from my friend Meenakshi. An alphabet pendant from Prerto.  I wore it today and felt a little bit fancy and dressed up after months!  A dollie.  A new friend, her name is Tuntuni and she is a thing of joy and beauty and oodles of cuteness.  My sister got this super adorable doll from SewMe Dolls and I am so in love.  A birthday cake.  A Piggy who was cute and yum!  Some birthday reading.  Ruskin Bond on my birthday is a little bit of a tradition.  Read this book in one sitting and it gave me quite a few helpful pointers on How To Be A Writer.  My birthday was a quiet and happy one.  Reading.  Cake.  Yummy Food.  And so many birthday wishes and love.  I feel incandescently happy and grateful to be here and alive and well and I feel so loved.  It's been a good one!  Thank You  & More Please!

 Hello Loves!  Another Friday and Another Batch some Recent Loves.  1. New books waiting to be read.  2. Cake for reasons big and small.  3. Cute Coffee Mugs.  This one is from Alom Merch.  They also have a website.  4. Journal.  A place to vent and keep my thoughts safe.  5. Beautiful Bookmarks.   These printed beauties are from Kartikey Shruti are so perfect.  6. My Instax which I picked up after ages this past week and clicked some pictures.  My pictures don't always turn out perfect but they sure make me happy.  My case is from Ali Express.  7. Ray Magic: This week has been spent immersing ourselves in the magic of Satyajit Ray.  We've been rewatching some old favourites.  Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne is a childhood constant love and comfort.  Watched it after a while and fell in love all over again.  We've also been watching some old Feluda films.  Baksha Rahasya.  Badshahi Angti....

 Hello Loves!  How is your weekend going?  Mine is off to a slow and soothing start, one that included a lot of sleep, some fruit cake and coffee and luchi and aloor torkari made by Maa.  I am trying to slow down, read a little and write my little butt off in these day few days of the year.  Here are some things that have brought me joy in the last few days... Flowers that are blooming around my home.  Happy yellow blooms that have come to life in the front of my house.  And these dark genda phools that have shown up on the roof.  The promise and excitement of a new planner.  I am so excited for 2021 and using my new planner.  Cake for no reason.  Well, to celebrate a Sunday.  This was a Dutch Trfuffle and it was delicious.  My planning and journaling supplies, siting pretty.  A book sleeve from Fitoor Company that holds all my stickers and washi tape and Kitta stickers. 

Hello March!  Hello Spring!  Hello Holi!  Hello Spring Blooms!  ⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘ Be Kind.  Be Peaceful!  Be Wonderful!  ~~~ March also means a month dedicated to reading only Women Writers for #femmemarch and #femmemarchfest  I am yet to pick out my TBR.  But I have picked out my first read-- Peril At End House by Agatha Christie, I mean if I am going to read only women all month long, I will start with one of my faves. And there is no one quite Dame Christie.  ~~~ March also means my mother's birthday.  We celebrated a little quietly this year with this delicious KitKat cake and Chinese food.  :)  ~~~  MARCH GOALS///  1. Read good books and read 12 books or more.  2. Go to a museum.  3. Write everyday. Even if it's free flowing thoughts.  4. Blog regularly.
