Hello!  Sharing one of my sister's looks for a change today.  My sister wore this gorgeous chandler silk chikan kurta from Lucknow for one of the days of Pujo.  My sister did all of her Pujo shopping in February this year. She was in Lucknow for work and thankfully had enough time to hit Ada Chikan and pick up a few things.  She got herself 3 chanderi kurtas..one in purple, one in aquamarine and this one in peach.  She also kindly got me 2 cotton kurtas in yellow and one in beige.  If you didn't know, my family and I have lived in Lucknow for 5 years and it's a city that I love for many reasons, chikankari is one of those reasons.  Back in the day, I had a kurta in pretty much alllll the colours...lilac, pink, yellow, green and white (of course). But that collection dwindled down to a few pieces here and there.  I am so happy to have a some chikan beauties in my life again.  My sister's outfit matched this pandal ...

Hello!  I might be a little/ a lot in love with all things circle bags.  It's a little obsession and I have collected quite a few beautiful circle bags from mostly indie sellers and bag makers, which of course makes them even more special.  Here are some of my favourite Circle Bags:  1. Joyeeta makes some of my absolute favourite art in the whole wide world.  The bags, brooches, bookmarks and jewellery and art prints are out of this world. She also makes these absolutely darling circle bags, I own three of her circle bags and this was one of the first I ever got.  Ah!  A thing of beauty.  This one is super special because she is fully customised to my very own whims.  She is a curly haired girl wearing glasses and has a bunch of sunflowers and daisies in bloom all around.  Ah!  This turned out so perfect and even better than what I had imagined.  2. Hello!  I carried this little sunshine tote all of January. I like to start the year with the happiest colours and this one had that and even a positive message on it.  Stop and Smell the Roses.  A message we could all do with.  To pause and slow down in this crazy busy life. Seriously, some days I feel like one day blends into the next.  We could all do with slowing down and being a little present.  I added this little bag charm for added whimsy.  It's from Accessorize. I picked it up 3 years ago!  This tote is from Chumbak , but I don't think it's available online anymore, though I have seen it in some shops.  I love the pastel colours of this tote.  It is so spacious and fit everything..like everything I could possibly need to carry.  The straps are super comfy and don't slip off my shoulders.  Totally recommend.  Chumbak makes incredible totes and backpacks.  Gor...

Hello!  Long time no blog.  Life has been a little busy, in the best way possible, and blogging has taken on a back seat.  I turned a year older last week and I got to my favourite thing- travel. A little road trip to Aurangabad. A city I had never been too before. It took us 8 hours in a car to get there. The drive was quite lovely. The roads good and there was music playing and my family around me and it was wonderful.  I love spending my birthday in a new place. Earlier, I have celebrated my birthdays in Ooty, Pondicherry, Goa and last year I went to Jaipur. I am always happy to celebrate my birthday exploring a new place.  Aurangabad has so much history and culture and going to the Ellora Caves had been on my travel wishlist for a while now.
