Hello November 2026!

Image
Hello November! Hello Kali Pujo. Hello Diwali. Hello my sister's birthday month.  Hello Scorpio Season.  🍂🍁🌰☕🍄🍊 I am hoping this month is gentle and kind and soft and all kinds of wonderful. My last November was full of pain and I'm hoping this year is so much better.  This is how I started my month:  Decorated my planner pages for November and gave my sister's birthday special attention.  :)  Read this easy, breezy rom-com last night.  I don't usually read romances and maybe pick up one or two a year. This one is about childhood best-friends getting estranged and them four years later meeting again and falling for each other. It was sweet enough and decent, not great but ok-ish.  2.50/5.  This is what I am currently reading: Evenings and Weekends by Oisin McKenna, I've heard so many good things about this and I think all the buzz is justified, I am about 12% in and I'm loving it so far. I've gone into this one pretty blind and so...

October 2026 Favourites!

Image
October is over. A month of Durga Pujo and Lokkhi Pujo, the most festive month in a Bengali's year.  There was a good dose of spookiness.  & For me it was a year since my stroke and a long year of healing since.  Honestly I was a little scared going into this month, since last October absolutely kicked my butt.  But this month has turned out rather kind.  Here are my faves from this month... Maa in all her glory.  Planner pages that I've minimally decorated.  Terrace time while it rains and reading for a couple of hours, while people watching on the side.  Blisssssss! Reading an old beloved book from my childhood.  Reading Bengali stories for Pujo. I started this book back in April and read half of it for Nobo Borsho and picked it up again this month and finished it for Pujo.  Did a fair amount of journaling this month and it made me so happy.  Also new journals came into our lives which is always a good thing be.  Lo...

Monday Moods: A Floral Monday.

Hello Loves!  Some pretty florals for your Monday morning.  Floral compendiums for planners. From 2024 and from The Ink Bucket.  Happy little brooches on my mini backpack.  I love how cheerful they look.  Pretty pink blooms.  Paperclip/page holder and a tiny paper brooch.

Look who's Back!

Hello, its me, your resident bookworm. I am still here, still around. Still healing. Still recovering from my brain stroke. It's nearly been a year, I'm slowly getting back to normal.  Life has been going on, I've been reading, journaling, moving my out of wack body and trying to manifest a future where I am somewhat normal again. My old life seems so far away sometimes. The life in Mumbai somedays feels like a dream, a fever dream. Hopefully I can find myself back to that old version of myself.  Here is journal eco-system for 2026.  My planner, my journal and my reading journal. I will do a detailed post on my very minimal system soon. I have really simplified my planner stack this year, mostly out go necessity. But I am quite pleased with how things turned out.  A stack of my beloved books. A TBR pile I made for August.  I haven't blogged since June! I meant to but most days I get tired by evening and just want to read and hangout with my Baba and sister...

Stationery Sunday: Planner Pages for July.

Set-up planner pages for July.  Here’s a look~  Next week in my memory keeper.  Supplies 💚 It feels good to find my way back to my journals and planners. Slowly getting back to normal things. I didn’t touch my stationery things alll of June and I am OK with not keeping up with documenting my life in a month where everything went south.

May Be Things Will Look Up.

Hello I’ve been missing in action.  I am still here.  May has been low-key brutal. But I’m still here.  Journaling and Planning.  Forever grateful for the grey skies and rains.  Finding solace in books and stories. Anything to escape real life.   I don’t know what happened this month, but I just kept ignoring and forgetting about this space. I didn’t mean to.  I promise. I walked into this month with a lot of joy and hope and then life happened. A whole lot of mess all at once. Ugg.  Life went on pause.  My Mum is seriously unwell. She has Dementia, she’s had multiple strokes. It’s bad, as bad as it can be. It feels unreal and all this month it has felt endless.  And most of my waking hours are spent scared and worried out of my mind.  So I just…hit pause.  I read a lot, binged old horror films, ate mangoes, slept, cried and survived summer. In June things will be better. Things will look up.  I hope. I pray. 🙏🏼 I d...
