Stationery Sunday: Frankie Journal 2019

Today I want to share some snippets of my sister's gratitude journal for 2019- the Daily Journal by Frankie Magazine . We got out first Frankie Journal in 2013 and then onwards, we have been using it off and on- skipping a few years in between- and we always find ourselves drawn to the beautiful illustrations! This year's journal is no exception. Let's take a look! The cover is always cloth bound, which feels so lovely on the hands.  Look at the end pages. So pretty!  This is what each month-at-a-glance looks like.  Look how pretty!!!  This is what a weekly spread looks like. There is a section for notes and for listing down new plants seen, which I think is so cute!  I love having pages to jot down birthdays!  Look at how pretty February looks!  There are always these tear-out to-do lists and reminders! I always pull these out and stick them in my other jour...

Project 365 2015: Week 6.

This week was a week of recovery. I was finally better, after being sick for a bit. I was still a little weak from being on antibiotics but I still managed to go out. We also a had a ton of visitors and there was lots of snacking, tea and tons of adda. :) I also have been reading a fair bit. I make a point to read before bed. Once my parents go to sleep. The sister and I read till we fall asleep. Reading during the day is pretty impossible. With guests and spending time with my parents, reading takes a backseat.  I also did a spot of shopping this week. :)  It was a very pleasant week overall. :)  Let's see my week in pictures. Day 36: Caught up on daily journaling. I was lagging a little behind when I was sick. So I spend my evening just catching up. Day 37: Pretty pages of my Frankie Magazine journal. I use this journal as my gratitude journal and I had missed a few days here as well. So much catch-up as well. Day 38: I spend my mornings and...

Project 365 2015: Week 2.

Week 2 of my Project 365. This week was once again full of travel and going places. I went to spend a few days at my family owned Tea Gardens and was blissfully happy there. The rest of the week was also spent meeting my people and laughing and just having a wonderful time. I am really happy that I began this year with travel. There can't be a better way to kickstart a New Year.  So here goes... My week in pictures.  Day 8: I woke up at 4:30 am! Just like that I was wide awake and just couldn't go back to sleep. Luckily my sister and Maa woke up soon after and Maa made me a cup of coffee and sat reading a book and chilling.  Day 9: Wrote in my gratitude journal and wrote some thoughts in my pretty journal.  Day 10: Packing! For a mini-break! I carried pretty much all plaid! Flannel is just the perfect thing for cold winter days. Both these shirts are from Old Navy.  Day 11: Road-tripping!!! Grey skies but really happy hearts!...

2014 Favourites: Planners and Journals

As 2014 draws to a close, we are going to be doing a round up of several favourites- planning tools, books (obviously!) and many other things! We're starting with planners and journals because now is the time to buy whatever planner/ notebook/ journal that you are planning on using for 2015. Let's get into it, then! Frankie Magazine , an Australian magazine full of beauty and lovely things, brings out its annual diary every September-October. These beautiful diaries feature high-quality paper, pretty patterns and several paper goodies like stickers and post cards. If you love pretty stationery and want a beautiful cloth-bound diary, then do get yourself the Frankie 2015 Diary .  I stumbled upon the Hobonichi Techo (techo=book in Japanese) earlier this year via Instagram. I immediately fell in love with its graph paper pages and the beautiful paper, which is very ink pen friendly. For 2015, I have bought the Hobonichi Techo in an A5 or 'Cousin...
