Blogmas Day-13! Friday Favourites.

Hello Loves!  Here are some recent faves:  Cozy and introvert friendly things.  December is allll about that cozy life and I just want to seek out comfort and joy and slow down.  Presents under the 🌲 tree.  Grateful and happy for the little treats.  New books 📚 on my eshelves.  Current Comfort Read.  Always hits the spot.  Christmassy corners of home and alll the joy they bring.  Happy Friday the 13th my loves.  I've already seen three spooky films:  The Well, on Prime is more gore than scares.  Grudge and Grudge 2, also on Prime were re-watches I enjoyed very much. Mostly because I don't think I've ever seen these films since I saw them first back in the early aughts.  Also started watching The Ring again and that's a classic.  The plan is to watch some more spooky films and make the most of this Friday 👻 the 13th and a full moon 🌕.

Saturday Sukoon. (Journal Pages, Planner & Tea)

Slow and calm Saturdays are my favourites.  I like days that don't demand much from me.  Days where I can do as I please and don't feel rushed or overwhelmed.  Today included: Reading in bed.  Planner Time.  Journaling.  Colouring.  Drinking ice tea.  Eating chutney sandwich.  Re-watching Modern Family, I love this show. I forget how hilarious it can be.  Here is what my day looked like:

Monthly Favourites: February 2024. (Journals, Books, iPad, Birthday and Colouring Books).

Hello Loves!  February is almost over.  We get a whole extra day this year and it always makes me happy, having one extra day in my birthday month.  To honest though, for the first time in forever this February wasn't my favourite.  I had a pretty crummy month and was sad and out of it for most days. I was honestly waiting for this month to end and I am happy to see it go.  My birthday month was a bit of a flop.  :(  Well, but that's life.  Some months are good and others suck, it was just sad that my birthday month was one that I didn't enjoy.  Still, there were some things I loved and so here are some favourites from a less than perfect month.  FEBRUARY FAVOURITES:   1. Journals: I found a lot of comfort and joy in my Journal this month. I used a pretty embroidered journal for my birthday month and I am happy with how most of the pages turned out. I might do a full post with my favourite journal pages. I also liked my Readi...

Stationery Sunday: Recent Loves~~ Colours and Reading Journal.

Hello Loves!  For today's SS post, I just want to round up some recent favourites.  Pages from my Journal.  My February Reading Journal pages, that I got around to doing only this week, but I do love how they've turned out.  And... Some new new colours I treated myself to and a spot of colouring in my tiny colouring book.  All good things.  🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀 Washi Tape to decorate my journal pages.  Reading Journal for February.  I went all out and love how it looks.  Pages in my tiny colouring book.  These colours are from a brand called About Space and I bought it from Amazon.  It has 60 colours and they are super pigmented. There is a lot of bleed through, so you have to be a little mindful of the kind of paper you are using them on.  The colour selection is very nice.  A page in progress.

Sunday Joys: Brush Pens + Instax + Bookmarks + Reading + Brooches.

  1. Colours to brighten things up.  2. Some Instax Magic and Memories.  3. Bookmarks.  4. Books and Brooches.  5. Sunkissed Terrace Reading and Bookmarks that Spark Joy.

Monthly Favourites: March 2020.

Hello!  This is an odd month to be doing monthly favourites in. I mean, I considered skipping this month altogether but figure even in this not-so-perfect time, there were things and moments that lifted the gloom from my heart.  So here are things that I loved this month.  1. Chai: I am a more dedicated Coffee drinker. But this month I've been drinking and finding a lot of comfort in a well brewed cup of tea. I like mine with ginger and cardamon and with a biscuit to dunk in it. I think it takes me back to my childhood and the comfort of having a little treat now and again.  2. Simple Home Cooked Meals: This quarantine has resulted in a lot of cooking. A lot of simple meals put together and that have resulted in some deliciousness.  In the picture is a roasted pepper and chicken pasta with a cream sauce. This took under half an hour to put together.  3. Kama Ayurveda Rose Jasmine Face Cleanser: My skin has been a hot ...

Hello October! + All The Things I am Excited for in October!!!!

🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃 Hello October!!!  Hello Lights! Hello Diwali! Hello Spooky Reads + Movies!  I will be honest, October is one of my least favourite months of the year. The main reason for that is the post-monsoon heat wave! I am not a fan and I just can't deal with the heat wave we are experiencing!  What makes it worse is that the rest of the world is slipping into fall and all sorts of cozy and comfy vibes and here in Bombay, we are melting our faces off!  No Fun! But let's focus on some things that do take my mind off the heat and make me kinda excited for October!  1. Diwali: Lights, mithai, diyas and rangoli.  While it isn't my biggest festival, it is always lovely to see the light and general bonhomie in the air this time of the year!  I love making mithai at home and being in a happy mood during India's biggest festival and lighting maybe one phooljhari. :)  2. Stranger Things 2: Like every ...
