Friday Favourites: Limbo Days.

Image
 Hello Loves!  The last week of the year is just to slow down and laze about and start prepping for the New Year.  I've started setting up my planners and organizing my supplies. Little things to get ready for 2025. I've also been watching some comfort films and reading some picture books.  Here are some faves from this week.  Lemon tea every night is a December staple.  Books and Tea.  Stickers and supplies.  Read this incredible spooky book.  Based on real life stories.  This was such good fun.  Mornings back in the hometown.  Blogging with a side of cookies.  Year end journaling, listing off  all my yearly highlights.

Had sushi for dinner. 🍣 Celebrated my sister's birthday in a quiet and simple and happy way.  It was a good day 😊 Put flowers in my little vases.  Sushi 🍣  A  Christmas RomCom.  Yes please!  Sweet Treats 🩵 I love slow 🐌 days.

July Days and Nights/// Books, Tea & Little Joys.

 Hello Loves 🪻🩷🪻 These July days have been a blur of books (mostly good), tea and rains and binging the X Men movies, which I forgot how much I love. I've also been watching some seriously weird (not good) Hindi films from the early aughts.. they might not be the best films but being back in that era makes me feel nostalgic and warm and fuzzy.  Anyhoo..  Here is what my days have looked like:  More Days at the Morisaki Bookshop was read slowly over the week. I re-read the first book before jumping into the sequel. I love this cozy little world and it's gentle and bookish people. I love books about books and this one about a second hand bookshop just makes me happy.  I will say that I preferred and enjoyed the first book a little bit more than the second one. But both these books are an enjoyable ride.  Poirot is perfect for rainy days.  Flowers and Kafka.  Read Earth by John Boyne in pretty much one sitting and really enjoyed it. This is the se...

Embroidered Things and Things made with hands and love.  Reading an old book. I am still trying to include my older books into my reading, and also the few second hand books I own.  Currently Reading The River Sutra by Gita Mehta.   Avocado Toast and Sandwich for an easy dinner.  Positive reinforcement from a bookmark, always a good thing.  A highlighter I like.  And my book wrapped in a book jacket. The jacket is from Handivity Designs.   Tea ☕ on a cold day.  So so so grateful for the weather being good here finally. More 🙏 please.

Vignettes: The Little Joys of July. (Chai, Mugs, Planner Update and Journals &TNs.)

July is going by in such a hurry!  But it's been such a good month of such little joys.  For me, a month full of rain and clouds and coziness is a blessing.  I have loved every single rainy day we've been blessed with this month.  Here are some other Joys of July.   A big, steaming and flavourful cup of Masala Chai.  A thing of joy. A biscuit to dunk and I am happy as can be.  PS: This mug is an old fave from Amazon.  Pages of my Journal.  I am currently doing my daily journaling in my Passport Sized TN from the Traveler's Company and using one of their inserts as well.  This is my page for July. And I loved how it turned out.  This peachy little number is my favourite mug of the month and a new addition to my mug collection.  This guy is from Nilay Studio and I absolutely love it.  I usually have my second cup of coffee in this mug and it makes me so happy.  Chai and Biscuits and floral bits.  I haven't be...

Favourite Mugs of 2022. {Blogmas Day- 7.}

Image
Hello Loves!  Let's kick off the listing off my favourite things of 2022 with sharing my favourite mugs of the year.  I love me mug, honestly I cannot resist a cute mug when I see one...which is a little bit of problem.  This year I bought mugs from some new places and some old constant faves.  Here are my absolute favourite mugs from 2022...used for coffee (for most part), tea occasionally and even juice..I am not a glass person for some reason.  1. Goopy Bagha Mug from Alom Merch : First up we have this super nostalgic mug from Alom Merch. A little tribute to Ray and his magic and Bhooter Raja and some elements of the iconic Goopy Bagha films.  A perfect mug for a Ray fan.  Love this guy.  My Thamma used to do his voice for us when we were little and I love him a little extra just because of it.    Love love love.  2. Chumbak Mugs : I can't possibly have a list of favourite mugs without having Chumbak on the list.  I always...

Monday Moods: Life Lately~~ Books and Tea and Journals and Planner Pages.

Image
 Hello Loves!  Another new week and another Monday. Something about January feels soo long. Not bad necessarily just long.  Here are some moments from life lately.  Journaling makes me so happy and alll this month I've set up new journals and written and decorated my little heart out.  This right here is my Gratitude Journal being set up.  This is the cover of my Gratitude Journal.  Embroidered lavender blooms.  :)  This guy took over a month to get to me, so I am only getting to setting it up and using it now.  I have been making little notes of all things I am grateful for in my other journals and planners and at some point this week I'll sit and make the entries here. My aim with this journal is to not make it a daily task. It would get too overwhelming and I know I'd eventually slack off. So this will mostly be a weekly or even once in two weeks sort of situation.  My planner pages this week.  Mostly clean and simple with a...
