 Hello, hello, Welcome to the very first Friday of 2024!  I hope you are as excited as I am that the work week is done and a weekend (and all its myriad possibilities) spreads out ahead of us!  Sharing some of the recent things that we've been loving!  The beginning of any New Year means setting up our planners and journals. This here is my sister's Hobonichi Techo. She is back in the Hobonichi after 3 years and this cover is from The Black Canvas . The crochet pencil case is from an Instagram shop whose name I can't remember.  Are you a fan of stickers? We are. They just brighten up things like laptops and Kindle and iPad cases and can be easily removed and replaced with other stickers. This one is from the Strawbabie store . The Kindle cover is from Amazon . My sister has the slightly larger 11th Generation Paperwhite and it is so difficult to find a good cover for it.  I spent some time organising my journal/ planner supplies in my The Ink Bucket planner...

 Hello Loves!  Wanted to quickly share our (my sister's and my) favourite stationery items of the year.  Unlike other years, where we buy a lot of stationery items like pens, stickers, washi tapes etc. from stores based out of Japan, Malaysia, Australia etc., this year, thanks to the pandemic, we've not been able to order much international stationery at all!  Shipping to India from foreign countries is only available via courier and that almost always translates into ridiculously high customs fees even for tiny items like pens, stickers etc.! Not worth ordering any of these right now.  However, not buying new supplies meant that we could dip into and use up so much of our existing stationery supplies! We've done a really good job of using up several stickers, washi tapes and pens that we already owned! So, a sort of a win-win!  So, anyway, these two planners have been our steadfast companions this year, not so much as planners per se, but as memory keepers...

My sister's beautiful Hobonichi Techo and a glimpse into her pencil bag.  Journaling is such a good way to deal with all the uncertainty and angst of right now.  My favourite time of day.  Seriously, the only thing I like about summer in Bombay are the glorious sunsets and the blue skies and the mad beautiful sunshine.  Also, loving how cute and utterly ridiculously my bed looks like now.  Rose Milkshake.  All you need is.. Hello!  For today's Stationery Sunday, I want to share a quick glimpse into my sister's personal planner/journal for 2020.  A Hobonichi Techo an A6 sized journal, she has used a Hobonichi since 2015 and for the last four years has been using the A6 size.  She uses it to jot down thoughts, journal her feeling and even do a spot of art and painting.  It is essentially her space for creativity and documenting her year.  This year she chose this beautiful cover with embroidered birds on it. It is so beautiful and almost 3D in its texture and look.  Look how cute!  The zip has a little bow detail.  This is the notebook inside the cover.  You could just buy the notebook, but the covers are always stunning and a good way to keep your notebook safe and also with enough slots and pockets to keep your stationery supplies organised and handy.  The cover also has two ribbon bookmarks that always come han...

1. Chick Mini-Backpack: A belated Christmas present, this little cutie is just too cute for words. She is very tiny, she doesn't even fit my Kindle but..I mean somethings you love not for their functionality.  2. Blue Skies: The skies are somehow prettier in the first half of the year. Bombay has been blessed with the most perfect skies lately and not to mention our wonderful weather all January long. It is another Friday! Yippity Yay Yay! Here are some of our favourites from the past week! This week's highlight was welcoming and celebrating Lord Ganesha or Ganapati or Ganpu :) We performed a small Puja at home and prayed for peace and well-being of our loved ones, the environment and the world- 'cause how can one not these days?  We've been blessed with some glorious, autumnal lavender-pink sunsets this past week or so. I've been living for these sunsets!  Look!  Look!  Our yellow bags from Chiaroscuro went on a little outing with us and look how cute they look!  The tote is called the Lazy Bailey (because slouchy) and the sling is called Big Stella (because classy)!  Last, but not least, this gorgeous Rifle Paper Co. fabric cover made by Lyra & Co. has been adorning my Hobonichi and I love it so much!!!  Hope you guys have a lovely weekend!  See you soon with some book reviews!
