Hello I’ve been missing in action.  I am still here.  May has been low-key brutal. But I’m still here.  Journaling and Planning.  Forever grateful for the grey skies and rains.  Finding solace in books and stories. Anything to escape real life.   I don’t know what happened this month, but I just kept ignoring and forgetting about this space. I didn’t mean to.  I promise. I walked into this month with a lot of joy and hope and then life happened. A whole lot of mess all at once. Ugg.  Life went on pause.  My Mum is seriously unwell. She has Dementia, she’s had multiple strokes. It’s bad, as bad as it can be. It feels unreal and all this month it has felt endless.  And most of my waking hours are spent scared and worried out of my mind.  So I just…hit pause.  I read a lot, binged old horror films, ate mangoes, slept, cried and survived summer. Hello September!  Hello Festivity!  Hello Fall (not here) vibes!  Hello Spooky Books!  Hello my Favourite Quarter of the Year!   I hope this month is kind and gentle and wonderful for all of us.  I am so excited for Janmashthami and Ganesh Chaturthi.  :)  And figuring out my plans for Durga Puja.  And I am happy to read from all over the world, now that my India only month is over.  I am working on my TBR and I think this is going to be a month of reading some Lit Fic and a ton of thrillers because it's been raining thrillers all over.  I have already started my month with two books.  One thriller, The Last Girls Standing by Jennifer Dugan - this is about two girls who survive a massacre at a Camp and after this near brush with death, things are not as they seemed to be. Two darling books by Sudha Murty that were surprisingly singed copies!!!  What a stroke of luck!  :)  Here's What My First Monday of 2023 Looked Liked:  How the Earth Got Its Beauty and How The Mango Got Its Magic by Sudha Murty: I started my year with these amazing books and they were just a happy and uncomplicated way to kick start my reading for the year.   Hello November!  Hello Fall!  Hello Scorpio Season!  Hello Sister's Birthday Month!  :)  I am happy you are here November.  I started my month with doing the things I usually do on the first day of the month.  I set up my Bujo pages, did up my journal and even set up my Book Journal for the month.  A very stationery heavy morning and the kind of thing I love.  November Page in my Bujo.  Added some autumnal colours and a little doggo in a sweater!  Too cute.  Of course I did a little bit of reading.  I am still reading my Halloween Read but I also started on a new book in honour of Non-Fiction November.  I adore this little Niffler dude on my bookmark.  Hello Loves!  A quick little post this morning.  I have been using this happy yellow journal as my daily journal since last month. I kept it simple and clean all of last month. But last night I decided to spruce it up using elements I got in my Floral Journaling Kit from Shop ABC . I used a few elements that were in the packaging and some from the kit itself.  :)  I love how lovely it's turned out.  Cute!  This took me less than five minutes and I love how it looks.  :)  This is the gorgeous kit.  I mean so freaking pretty.  The goodies inside are gorgeous too and will make my planning and journaling spreads so pretty. Will talk about it in more detail soon.  This was my journal before.  Happy yellow and pretty.  This journal is from Paper Clip. 

 Hello Loves!  And Welcome to another edition of Stationery Sunday...on a Monday Morning!  :)  The start of the month means many things. One the ways in which I start a new month in my life is by setting by my planner pages and my journal pages.  I also set my Reading Journal. Decorate the pages. Make my TBR and set some reading goals.  These are my pages for April.  First up, are my April pages, Week 1...well the first few days of the month at the very least.  Full on summer vibes and joy. I am trying to be better about summer and not running from all things about this season.  So I've done a lot of flowers. Birds.  Hello Loves!  Let's look at some cute stickers today shall we?  This week I got some very happy mail from Kimey's Korner , an order entirely of adorable stickers to use in my planner and journals. I am so happy with these stickers, this was my second time ordering from her and I am definitely going to keep going back for more. I have already started using these stickers and they make my spreads look so good and they make me so happy.  Even the packaging was so cute. The stickers (I got three sets of stickers) came in cute vellum paper envelopes, something that's useful and can be repurposed in your journaling spreads. Hello Loves!  For a stationery loving and hoarding Behen, such as myself, a pencil pouch/bag is of utmost importance. A place to carry all my pens and pencils and highlighter and other miscellaneous things and keep them all in one place and safe is very critical.  So I tend to get a lot of pouches for this specific purpose. I also really like pouches in general. Back when life was ordinary and one went out and about, I used a lot of pouches to keep my bag organised and neat. I also use pouches to store my stationery, make-up and bookmarks and even jewellery. So in my world I can never have enough pouches.  :)  I was recently getting a backpack and tote from Taaga by Reema, and Reema shared some of her new quirky fabrics with me, I guess she knows me well and lo and behold I fell in love with these two prints and needed something in them. Hello!  For this first Sunday of 2020, I want to share a different sort of post.  Ever since I've been here on holiday, since September, I have been using a Delfonics pouch to hold all of my stationery supplies. Especially, my Bujo and my journal and a couple of other supplies.
