Bookmark Haul 🌼💐🌼📖 from Riya Designs.

Flowers for Spring!  I love flowers and you know I love me some bookmarks. So acquiring these were a no brainer.  Got these from Riya Designs and I adore them.  These came in a set. Perfect for books of course, but also great for my journals and planners.  This one I have in a white background but I really like the sage green pop of colour too.  So cute. So happy with these.  This has been a very happy haul.

Stationery Sunday: Planner for 2024. The Ink Bucket Planner.

Hello Loves!  It's that time of the year, when Planner Girlies have their planners for next year alll lined up. I was confused for the longest time and then I saw The Ink Bucket and their launch and seeing that the planners were soooo much slimmer and more compact, I decided to go right back to it. I, for one, am super happy that they decided to do away with the extra pages and the journal elements of the planner. I almost never used these extra bits and I do like my Planner to be just that, A PLANNER.  So back to an old favourite I went.  In case you didn't know, I have used The Ink Bucket Planners for a few years before this.  In 2019, 2021 and 2022.  2024 will be fourth time using the planner.  I picked this gorgeous version, I love that they do a few styles and there is so much room for choice.  I love the colours and the bold florals.  The navy blue just sings and looks really mature and grown-up.  I love it.  The mint green ...

Stationery Sunday: Notebook Haul from The Ink Bucket.

Hello Loves!  Long time no post!  Life has been a little busy and truth be told this heat is getting to me.  How are we already blistering and uncomfortable in March!?  I shudder to think what May will do to us!  Spring isn't supposed to be this lethal.  Talking of Spring, let's get into the little notebook haul which is just perfect for Spring.  The Ink Bucket recently launched some gorgeous notebooks and notepads and I had to get myself some of the beauties because there is no such thing as too many notebooks.  You always need a notebook or two close at hand and ready to use.  So let's just jump into the haul.  I got three notebooks in total.  One hardback.  And two that came in a set.  And one notepad.  Floral goodness.  I am so in love with these notebooks.  This one might just be my favourite.  I mean look how utterly gorgeous!?  Ah!  Pretty as can be.  A closer look.  Th...

#ThrowbackThursday: Flowers from our Garden

Feeling a little wistful and missing "real" winter and the various flowers from our garden back in West Bengal.  Not much of a post today, just a wee walk down memory lane.. Hope you've had a good week and yay! it is almost Friday!

Friday Favourites: Embroidered Bookmarks from Kagojer Nouka

Hello, hello, What a week it has been, eh?  Ending this depressing (are you following what's been going on in Karnataka? The deplorable ban on hijab  in colleges?) week with a little bit of sunshine. Sharing some lovely embroidered bookmarks from Kagojer Nouka .  Here is what we ordered! The two tiny little bookmarks were kindly sent to us by Tori (whose store Kagojer Nouka is). Isn't everything just lovely?  Here they are! The little mini bookmarks! I'll be using them in a future journaling spread for sure! Thanks for sending these, Tori! You know how much I love these!  Here are the three bookmarks! The embroidery is flawless and they are thin enough to be placed between the pages of a book, which is always a good thing. In short- they are perfect!  A closer look at each of these beauties!  Lavender!  Forget-me-nots? (I am not entirely sure) Queen Anne's Lace You can order yourself a set of these from Tori's Instagram page- Kagoj...

Planner 2022: Liberty Faber Poetry Diary- Haul & Review

Hello, hello,  Most of us have had a rough 2021. For some of us, the bad juju of the previous year continues into the new one! One way to process this horrible time that we're living through is focussing on the good in our lives- irrespective of how tiny that sliver of good is. That's where gratitude journaling comes in.  You don't need to write a whole lot when it comes to expressing gratitude for those things in your life that are providing you with a sense of joy and peace. A couple of lines, a few bullet points are all that you need to document what is good or uplifting.  My sister was looking for a diary/ dated planner with just enough space to list down a few things that were good about each day. She didn't want a ton of space and she also wanted a light weight planner that would be easily portable.  Her frantic searching towards the end of 2021 led her to this beauty.  Presenting *dun dun dun* the Liberty Faber Poetry Diary 2022!  Look at her! ...

Blogmas Day XVI: Bougainvillea Joy!

Hello, hello, We interrupt our regular list-making and end-of-the-year wrap-ups to bring you some bougainvillea joy! Our garden is full of these vibrant blooms and we can't help staring at them or clicking pics every single day!  I love how these flowers start out by being coral coloured and then morph into vibrant purple blooms!  I love looking at these colours against the bright, clear blue skies.  Ah see!  See? So lovely! I hope you are having a good week and are excited about the weekend!  See you tomorrow with the first of our annual reading favourites list!

Stationery Sunday: Notebooks from The Happy Wagon.

Hello Loves!  In my world there is no such thing as too many notebooks.  There is always, always more room in my life and heart for new notebooks.  I have wanted to get these beautiful floral notebooks for months, they kept popping up on my IG and I finally caved in and bought a set of three notebooks from The Happy Wagon.   They are designed by Tatiana Abaurre.  :)  And I intend on using them come 2022 and not hoard them infinitely.  :)  The tiniest one will go to my sister and the other two I'll use in the coming year.  :) I cannot wait.  OK, first things first.  One notebook came with a matching bookmark which made me very, very happy.  :)  Here are all three notebooks.  Two of them are A5 sized and one is an A6..or maybe it's a Field Notes size.  I love how each is a different kind of floral design.  I love these darker floral tones.  The flowers aka the art just pops off the page.  ...

Stationery Sunday: The Botanical Kit from The Bodhi Journal.

Hello Loves!  The Bodhi Journal has been a very happy discovery.  We've ordered quite a few things from them in the last few months.  This was our first batch of things we got from them.  Some beautiful postcards.  Stickers.  & A whole Botanical Kit, which is full of ephemera, paper bits and stickers.   I am so happy there are incredible places to buy stickers and stationery from in India.  Makes my stationery-loving heart very happy.  :)  Some floral stickers in multiple sizes and shapes.  So utterly gorgeous.  I've used a few of these already in various journal spreads.  More stickers. I especially love the circle stickers.  Slightly larger stickers.  These are great to use in my junk journal which is an A5 size.  So, so beautiful and perfect.  The quality of these is good too.  A kit is a good way to kickstart some art journaling and junk journaling.  Plus perfect to do up your planner ...
