  Hello Loves!  We've fallen for the trendy, very in Pouch Journals.  We've made three so far, and by me I mean my sister. She makes them and I decorate them.  First we made the small one, which I'm using as my Hospital Journal to jot down the memories of my 22 day hospital stay.  Then we made the big one that holds my current read and my Book Buddy~ a journal for my honest, unhinged bookish thoughts.  My two precious journal covers.  I love how they've turned out.  A closer look at the stickers.  I've used my Book Journal Pouch everyday since I've acquired it.  Its perfect to hold my reading supplies- like highlighters, page flags and sticky notes and a few pens and pencils.  It's a great way tote around your current reads and your annotation things.  One of my notebooks from my smaller pouch journals.  These are so easy to make, find a tutorial on IG and find supplies from  Amazon  Scooboo  And make yourse...

 Hello Loves!  My reading habits have changed quite a bit.  I used to be a book monogamist, I only ever read one book at a time and couldn't imagine reading any other way. I saw other folks read a huge stack at books in one go and wondered how they did it.. Cut to now and my monogamous nature..when it comes to books have changed quite a bit.  Now I read a couple of books at a time.  I am currently reading three books this week.  I have my morning read: my daytime read if you will.  I am reading: Snow Falling on Cedars by David Guterson, which is literary whodunnit set in 1954.  The book's written in 1995 and something about a book written in the 90s is just hitting the spot.  It took me sometime to get into this book but I'm currently a 100 pages in and really enjoying it.  This is my evening read: Elizabeth and her German Garden by Elizabeth Von Arnim.  A classic about a woman's love for nature and her garden and books and thriving...

 I've been away from home, Mumbai for over a year now. I came to my hometown in June 2025 when Maa passed away. Then in October I got my stroke and got paralyzed and any plans of going back home got indefinitely delayed. Now I don't even know when we'll go back. I miss home with a such severe longing..I miss my books, my stationery, my journals and my life.  I miss my books so much. I wish I could somehow I could teleport to Mumbai for an hour and grab some of my books to bring them with me.  I miss my bags. Not like I'm going anywhere but it would be nice to be with my bags.  And I miss little treats now and again. And I miss all to food from home.  I miss my quiet reading and journaling days.  And my miss coffeeshop reading 🎀 Hopefully I get better soon and go back to my ordinary and blissful life 💗  

  Hello! Moved into a new, very roomy pencil bag tonight 😊 While writing is still a bit of a struggle since my stroke, I’ve started writing a little everyday and I’m hoping my hand gets better soon and I can finally get back to writing, journaling and annotating my books. Here’s a look my precious pens 🥰 The tiny pouches are from Choti Si Asha The new one is from an IG store called Veora. It was kindly sent as a freebie by the seller with some booksleeves I ordered (will share those soon). 

 January has begun cold and quiet and bookish-my. Spending my days under my quilt and reading my books and life feels pretty good.

 Hello October 🌾🍁🪷🍁🌾 Dugga Dugga ❤️ Started my month with some pandal hopping and praying to Maa Durga for better days and joy and hope.  Here is what today looked like: many pretty protimas and pandals. Feeling a little festive.  Pujo has been a little quiet this year because it’s hard to imagine Pujo without Maa. We’ve stayed home all these days and only ventured out today.  Felt good to be out and about in the world and go see Maa Durga and her kids.  Hoping and praying that the rest of the month is just as nice. 

 Hey there! It’s been a while. I took a month off from blogging. Honestly, last month wasn’t the best for me. I didn’t feel like myself and found myself feeling lost and in a limbo. I read only 3 books and didn’t even touch my planner. I am hoping September is kinder and gentler and I can find my way back  I hope to read more. Blog more often. Journal. And be more present in my life.  Be Good September 🪴

  The days have been slow and blurring altogether.  And it’s been so hot and humid and muggy. It seems to be raining everywhere in India but where I am at..and I am not doing well with this heat. As always my books and coffee and films have helped. Can’t believe July is almost over. I’ve been reading mostly graphic novels and watching films with Baba.  I am excited for August to arrive and commence my annual Indian Books in August.
