Hello Loves!  Where are the rains? It's nearly end of June and the rains are playing hard to get.  So here's a little throw back to these glorious flowers in the hills of Kurseong.  Oh God take me back to the hills.    Flowers + Mountains are a sure shot way to make me happy.  I cannot wait to go back to the hills. 

 Hello Loves!  Here's what my day looked like today.  Set up my June Journal.  Decorated.  Wrote.  Set some Goals.  A pen stand and some owls.  Summer Bloom.  Gratitude Journal, June Week I.  I don't really decorate my Gratitude Journal very much, I like to keep it clean and uncluttered.  The moon tonight is a thing of beauty.  I honestly was staring it for so long. It looked comically large. Like a big old dollop of ice-cream.  :)  How was your Saturday?  Mine was spent journaling and mainly setting up my new Journal for June. I finally got around to using my Traveler's Notebook Passport sized journal. Most of my morning was spent listening to music and decorating my inserts and writing some feelings away.  Hello Loves!  It's a drizzly and rainy Monday in my part of the world, so I am making the most of it and reading something thriller-y and drinking lemon tea.  Here some moments of joy to brighten up your Monday morning.  Sunshine and these beautiful blooms.  These pictures were clicked on a crisp and cold November morning.  Up close and lovely.  Art lighting up corners of my home.  Pages and Bookmarks.  Journaling in bed.  A second favourite, close after reading in bed.   The Golden Days of Summer.  I am not Summer's biggest fan. Not by a mile.  I thrive in winter. Smile when it rains.  Summer is not my friend.  It's when I hide.  Sleep during the day.  Venture out during the evening.  I hide and plan for the rains.  Look at the sky hoping to spot an errant cloud or two.  I don't like summer.  This year I am trying to befriend this inescapable part of life.  Trying to make  the most of these intensely warm days, the sunshine that stabs at your very skin and the heat that embraces you.  I am trying to find the beauty in the flowers that spring out of corners.  Look forward to the mangoes.  And find the usual delight in everything iced and cold.  I am going to be friends with you summer.  I will make peace with you.  :)  Some pictures, or a #photodump of summer mornings. 

 Hello Loves!  It's the last Friday of the year and it's time to list my Monthly Favourites.  It seems like such a long month, no? March always does seem so long after the short and sweet February.  March felt long but good, it started out wonderful and cold and is ending with me sweating through my tee.  Spring has jumped straight into summer and I am not looking forward to the hot month of summer.  But let's not think about that for now, let's talk about all the things I loved in March!  1. Spring Journal: I love how my journal for this month turned out, I loved how I set it up and I have really enjoyed how writing in it. Sadly not like we had much of a spring this year. We went straight from winter  to summer. Still, I can pretend in my journal that spring is lingering on.  2. Flowers: You got to love the flowers that bloom in March.  Hello, hello, What a week it has been, eh?  Ending this depressing (are you following what's been going on in Karnataka? The deplorable ban on hijab  in colleges?) week with a little bit of sunshine. Sharing some lovely embroidered bookmarks from Kagojer Nouka .  Here is what we ordered! The two tiny little bookmarks were kindly sent to us by Tori (whose store Kagojer Nouka is). Isn't everything just lovely?  Here they are! The little mini bookmarks! I'll be using them in a future journaling spread for sure! Thanks for sending these, Tori! You know how much I love these!  Here are the three bookmarks! The embroidery is flawless and they are thin enough to be placed between the pages of a book, which is always a good thing.   Current Mood: Dreaming of the hills and running off for a holiday.  Every year (when things were good and normal) I went off on a little holiday to bring in my birthday.  Jaipur.  Ooty.  Pondicherry.  Landour.  Goa.  Aurangabad. Places I've gone for my birthday holidays in the past.  But since 2020 all of that has gone for a toss.  So today I look back on old memories and try to feel an ounce of joy.  Aaaahhh!  When will I travel again!  All of these pictures are from Kalimpong.
