 January has begun cold and quiet and bookish-my. Spending my days under my quilt and reading my books and life feels pretty good. 

Hello Loves!  Another Friday and another set of Friday Favourites. This week has been quiet and restful and full of comforts.  The weather got better.  I read some incredible books.  Found a new comfort show to binge, it’s called Sister Boniface Mysteries and it’s streaming on BBC Player. I watch it on Prime where I’ve taken a BBC add on subscription.  Here are some other weekly favourites.    Sun kissed books early in the morning. A winter favourite. When the sun doesn’t singe but reading by early morning sunshine warms my heart.  Winter sunshine and the view out of my window.   Cute, old school art in books.  New books.  Hello Loves!  I am thoroughly enjoying winter this year. Bombay has no real winter. So any opportunity to enjoy winter just makes me happy. This year is particularly cold and I packed like an idiot, I completely forgot to bring my woollen hats along and was in desperate need for some warm hats.  I spotted Khwaab on Joyeeta's IG stories and wanted to get some winter goodies from them. So we ordered a hat, a woollen headband and a cotton headband from them and I love everything we got.  Bobble Hat.  Love the colour combination, the pink and grey look so good together.  The hat is soft and warm and so cozy.  And it fits perfectly.  I also got this thick yellow headband that covers my ears too and keeps me warm.  Look how pretty!  Yellow is my favourite colour and I couldn't resist getting this.  I also got this block print cotton headband for the summer months. I love the print and the colour and can't wait to style it up come summer...

 Hello Loves!  Today is so cold in my corner of the world.  A cold wind has been blowing allll day and I am bundled up in a sweatshirt and under two shawls.  Brrrrr.  So today's happy mail came just at the right time.  I ordered a few goodies from Oony by Anab , things that are pretty as peach and things I needed this winter.  I got two  knitted headbands and one floral hairband which they call the Bahaar hairband.  Love the cable knit patter and the yarn is so soft and smooth and so comfortable to wear.  I wore mine- the sunshine yellow- headband the moment it arrived and it's helped to keeping the cold at bay.  We got the  Handknit Headbands in Sunflower and Fuchsia.  Sunflower for me and Fuchsia for my sister.  Every single thing is beautiful and well-made and perfect in every way.  :)  They make a host of handmade things:  Beanies.  Headbands.  Scarves.  Booties.  Scrunchies....

  Hello December!  Hello Blogsmas!  I am so excited to Blog everyday this month. Especially, given that this year my blogging has been largely hit and miss, I've gone days, sometimes weeks without getting a blogpost up thanks to the malice that has been 2020.  So this month I am sooooo kicked to get my blogging on.  So expect a lot of year end lists of all sorts of favourites from 2020.  Especially all of my reading favourites!  :)  I am happy you are here December.  One of my favourite months of the year.  I am determined to have a happy month!  :)  Here's to new months and new beginnings.  I am looking forward to see winter gardens blooming all over town.  DECEMBER GOALS///  1. Hello!  It's been a while since I did a Friday Favourite post on here. So let's start up a favourite feature of mine.  Here some of the things I've been loving recently.  1. My Kindle and ebooks have made my 2 month long holiday so much better. It is such a pleasure having books ready and waiting for me and the ability to buy new books whenever I please and start reading them immediately.  :)  Ah!  I have also been loving buddy reading with my sister. We tend to pick thrillers and read them quickly and discuss our theories about them. Buddy reading is the best!  2. Winter Wear + Clothing especially layering up for winter.
