 Hello Loves!  I've had a slow and chill day.  Read a little.  Cooked simple things.  Had yummy coffee.  And looked back at some old pictures and memories.  Mostly from 2021, and the winter in my small town and living with my parents and making my room there festive as can be.  So here are some memories from  December 2021.  My book and light filled room in my parents home. A good time, even though back then I probably was waiting for brighter time and better days. Funny how life works, when you are in the middle of living your life you keep hoping for something better or more exciting and when that time goes by..you look back nostalgically.  Well... Here's some good days from 2021.  Every night I'd light some candles and read or watch something on my laptop.  The room would be warm and cozy and I'd be under my quilt and life felt so good.  Good times. 

 Hello Loves!  If you live in a typical Indian home, you probably have a steel cupboard or two and usually those guys, while super useful are quite an eyesore. And they are so large and bulky. I have three steel cupboards in my bedroom. I am super grateful to them for holding all my clothes safe but I do like to dress them up a bit. I wish I could paint mine but that seems like a big job and not to mention I am very allergic to the smell of paint. The last time we got things painted at home, I nearly died.  Not even joking.  So I find other ways to jazz up my cupboards.  I use a ton of cute magnets and stickers and postcards and cards but I was getting so bored of the art I had on for a while that I was in desperate need for some change.  So a few days ago, I pulled out some of my little postcards and bookmarks and even a thank you note or two and did up one of my cupboards.  Let's see what my new jazzed up cupboard looks like.  Look, how cute!...

 Hello Loves.  If you follow me on IG you know I have been having a little planner crisis in my head.  Basically I am so tempted to buy a Midori Planner even though I have Inkbucket planner. So I have been feeling crippled with indecision.  Yikes.  But I think I have made a decision to just suck it up and use my existing planner and make it as lovely and beautiful as I can.  So, let's focus on something good instead.  Here are some new additions to my life.  Some stationery bits and some general bits.  We recently got our 2022 calendar from Bhuli Art (will share how beautiful it is soon)  and also got this set of stunning postcards/ art prints.  I love their art style and how striking each print is.  Can't wait to put these up on my walls soon.  This is my third time buying a calendar from them and I am so happy to have their art and colour fill up a corner of my home in 2022.  My sister's minimal planner haul. ...

  Hello December!  And welcome to Blogmas 2021.   Blogmas is basically my end of the year hurrah where I blog every single day up to Christmas and sometimes right up to the New Year. I blog about books, home, festivity and of course since it's end of the year it's time to list all kinds of favourties. I make top 5 and in some cases top 10 favourites of all sorts of things- books, stationery, bags, jewellery, clothes and films and TV too. Hello Loves!  A few weeks ago my sister bought this gorgeous leather notebook cover and surprisingly it came with an A5 notebook that my sister didn't need.  So I quickly claimed it to use as a Writing Journal.  A place to scribble and write and a place to make a list of stories I want to tell.  But of course, before all of that, I had to make it as pretty as possible.  So I did just that.  I am super proud that most of what I used came from beautiful packaging from VnV Shop .  I re-purposed an envelope.  & And the packing paper.  Why waste such perfectly beautiful things?!   This is the cover.  Used a postcard from Sunny Skies and Starry Eyes .  And a Girl Sticker from my favourite La Dolce Vita.  All the little stickers  and flower ephemera are Ali Express a long time ago.  A closer look.  Perfect writerly vibes.  This is most of the material I used.  All from Vnv Shop.  And now for the...

Hello Loves!  Today I want to share some beautiful postcards we got from Sunny Skies Starry Eyes.  I've bought some beautiful bookmarks from her before and I am a big fan of her art and the quality of her products.  She prints her stuff on the such good quality matter paper that it makes the art just pop.  :)  I highly highly recommend her work and you need to go get yourself something lovely from her.  She makes bookmarks, postcards, buttons and art prints.    This bougainvillea print might just be my favourite.  It reminds me of the Mahals of Jaipur and the lush flowers blooming in the summer.  Nature is the best.  I could honestly sit and stare at trees for hours and never tire of it.  These are the reading themes ones.  Ah! These make me so happy.  Women who read.  These postcards just speak to me.  There is nothing as good as being curled up with a good book.  I can't wait to put up these postcards...

Hello Loves!  While big joys: the kind of happiness brought on by big ticket items like travel, promotions, a report card with amazing grades and a new car or a new home or new relationship are all good.  One can't be chasing after that kind of joy for too long or too often.  Life is often peppered with small and seemingly insignificant joys.  These little joys may just my favourite things.    The joy of being lost in a good book.   Hello Loves!  Just a quick little post this Sunday.  I recently got a whole bunch of cute stationery bits from Paper Infinity , a shop that kept popping up on IG and tempting me with their adorable prints.  So I finally gave in an got myself some:  Bookmarks.  Postcards.  &  Buttons/ Badges.  Everything was smooth from the get go, the ordering process and the shipping and delivery too.  I also loved how everything came packages and they even sent me some Christmas chocolates (not pictured here because I ate them before I sat down to take pictures!).  So kind!  Will share the actual things real soon.  :)  In the meantime, go check them out and treat yourself to something lovely.  💛💜💛💜
