Hello July 2025! + Life Update.

July is here. After June, which felt like a punch to my gut and heart.  I am hoping July leads to more healing ❤️‍🩹 and baby steps back to normality. My Mum passed away on 3rd June and I flew to the hometown and say goodbye to Maa and perform her last rites.  Life has felt impossible and hard and every day feels…off.  It’s been a  long month.  My heart feels wrecked and my life will never be the same again.  I am hoping this month leads to some kind of normality.  I disappeared from the blog because I just didn’t feel like doing much. I barely read. Didn’t touch my journals. Just watched films and spent time with my sister and dad.  This month I am hoping to blog more.  Read more.  Cry a little less.

May Be Things Will Look Up.

Hello I’ve been missing in action.  I am still here.  May has been low-key brutal. It feels unreal and all this month it has felt endless.  And most of my waking hours are spent scared and worried out of my mind.  So I just…hit pause.  I read a lot, binged old horror films, ate mangoes, slept, cried and survived summer. In June things will be better. Things will look up.  I hope. I pray. 🙏🏼 I d...

Friday Favourites: Shows, Writing and Slowing Down.

Another Friday and another batch of Favourite Things.  Back to my laptop and writing after far too long and it feels so good.  Sensitive and not sorry.  A new to me show that I am binging and loving. Reading in bed and feeling cozy. Meem Se Mohobbat finale was just too cute for words. Light and trying to find my way out of darkness.
