Stationery Sunday: Planner Sleeve.

Hello Loves! For January and maybe even February (depending on the weather) I’ve decided to house my planner in this beautiful crochet sleeve. My planner looks so cozy and snug. And it fits beautifully.  The sleeve is from Apratim_15 on IG.

Subho Nobo Borsho my Loves.  Today is Poila Boishak, aka Bengali New Year.  And it was a quiet day of celebrating.  It was too hot to wear something fancy, but we are supposed to wear something new so I wore a new tee-shirt.  Started a new book.  And ate a ton of fruits to cool down.  I don't know about you but I cannot with this heat 🔥 Here's what my day looked like today..  Cozy Frog 🐸 Babies.  Current Read 🕵‍♀️🕵🕵‍♀️🕵 Ray on New Years 🥰 Warm Wishes from her and me.  New tee 😍  Dobby forever 🥰 Blooms 🌺

Friday Favourites: Spring + Books + Crochet Plushies + Slow Days.

Hello Loves!  Another Friday and another batch of some favourite things from life lately.  Spring is the air, well summer is nearly here and making it's presence felt.  As much as I hate winter leaving, there is something very special about these bluer than blue skies we get in Spring-Summer.  I didn't do an insane book haul for my birthday this year. In fact, I bought just one book, that too weeks before my birthday.  I do have a few books sitting in my cart and on my wishlist..but I am not sure if I'll go ahead and get it.  Maybe get 5 books. It was my birthday after all.  Coffee with a side of cuties.  Basking in the sunshine.  I guess someone likes the Spring sunshine.  A book I read this week and loved. I always read Ruskin Bond on my birthday and this one about home and the hills and nature and life was such a wise and happy companion on my birthday and the days after. A good time and it made me miss Landour something fierce. ...

I Love Books 📚

Hello Loves!  I sure do love reading and my books.  Here are some glimpses of my reading life lately.  My book tote. A soft crochet bag to hold two of my current reads.  The Frog 🐸 pouch holds my headphones.  A pouch to hold my annotation supplies.  Page flags and books.  Am reading📖  Books on my iPad.  Books & Coffee☕ Warm and fuzzy and lovely.

Friday Favourites: Books, Art, Journal, Crochet Cuties, Old Pictures and Memories.

A new week and and  a new batch of Friday Faves.  Sunkissed books I read and loved in January.  My beautiful February journal.  A new crochet friend.  First book of February.  Me at 21. In Goa, with room service and a silly smile on my face.  A pool I sat by and read all afternoon, back in  2019 on my birthday holiday. Good times.  A cute little bookmark.

Hello February + A (Less than Perfect)Day in My Life.

Hello February!  Hello Birthday Month.  Hello my Favourite little month ever.  I am happy you are here.  All I want to do this month is find joy, read some favourite authors and books and turn a year older.  That's it. That's the goal.  So be Good and Gentle and Kind February.  I made a little TBR for my month.  I started my reading with some Ruskin Bond.  Mukesh Starts a Zoo was sweet and wholesome.  A good way to kick start my reading.  Look how cute this cover is.  Spent some time with my planners and made some lists. Moved into a new pencil bag.  Decorated pages for the rest of the week.  I am so glad my planner this year starts a new month from a new page. I cannot tell you how much it bummed me out when previous planners clubbed together two month.  The rest of today was less than perfect.  There were some loud AF construction sounds that ruined my morning. And my building is now being painted an...

General Whimsy: Homebody Diaries.

I am your classic homebody. Being at home is my constant state of being.  I am happiest at home.  Every year I try to be more out going and adventurous but I revert back to being my cozy, slow and introverted self.  And honestly, I just need to make my peace with it.  :)  I love being at home. Crochet cuties and a cup of coffee.  Gentle mornings and gender phool.  💛💛💛💛 The last nearly two months, my building is getting some serious work done. An almost full renovation and up keep is underway and it's been loud and dusty and the complete opposite of peace and calm.  :(  This has taken quite a toll on my mental health. But we put our big girl pants on and deal with it. (Kinda, I am spiralling but putting on a brave face) Here are some glimpses of the quieter and gentler days.  A spot of sunshine and a little frog.  A sun kissed pile of books.  This one I am keen to read in 2024.  Spooky and Booky mug.  This wa...
