 June Begins….quietly and kindly. Books. Bookmarks. Totes. And delicious Banana Bread. 

 I am totally into totes. The last 3 years has seen me become low key, well high key obsessed with totes. I also use them pretty much every single day.  I have a Planner Tote which holds all of my Planners and Journals.  Then I have a reading tote, that holds my current reads and some annotating supplies.  And I have a tote for my Laptop and iPad and Kindle. So three totes are always in circulation.  I change up said totes once in a while..like today.  Moved into a new Planner and Reading Tote, so thought I’d share.  This yellow gingham quilted tote is a recent find. It’s from the brand Orla that I got via Amazon.  I love the Springy and happy vibe and I’ve always loved gingham. This is spacious enough to hold all of my planners and journals.  And it has a zip which is great and keeps my things dust free and safe.  I filled it up and everything fits in just perfectly.  Hello May!  Hope this brand new month has been treating you well!  This is what the first five days of May have looked like! My sister and I have been reading The Adventures of Feluda by Satyajit Ray and we've been sneaking in re-watches of some of our favourite Feluda movies (which is ALL the Feluda movies)! :)  May is also all about mangoes and we've been enjoying our Alphonsoes a little too much!  Not all of them have been 100% sweet and with those we make a little aam makha, which is a simple mango much with sugar, salt, pepper and mustard.  My current read! Loving re-reading these lovely stories!  New books galore on the iPad! Excited to read all of them!  The Bhooter Raja and his motley crew!  Hello, hello! I hope you've been having a lovely weekend!  I spent mine reading, doing a spot of planning, journaling and watching a movie on Netflix. A nice, lazy Sunday.  I wanted to share a quick look at the tote bag I am using to carry my planners and supplies currently.  This is the tote bag that I am using to carry around my planners, journals and supplies. It is from La Dolce Vita and I've had it since 2019 and hadn't really had a chance to use it! Fully blame the pandemic for that!  Here is what it contains- my planner, gratitude journal and my folio, which houses some of my supplies and, of course, my pencil case.  The folio (light blue) is actually a Hobonichi cover, which I am using as a folio to carry around my supplies.  Here is the bag! I love the whimsical outfit of the girls!  The pencil case I am currently using is also from La Dolce Vita and I love their illustrations!  Have a great week ahead, folks!   

 Hello, hello! It has been a rough few days with my mom, dad and sister all being unwell! Not Covid, thank God, but other health issues. I have been finding small moments of joy and calm in the midst of all the stress and running around.  Some glimpses from my world on this Monday.  A spread from my weekly Gratitude Journal before the ink. I have decided to do this on a weekly basis as it is easier to catch-up 2-3 days at a time.  My cute Kindle cover has a lovely message for everyone- spread joy.  A story from a collection of Ray's ghost stories that I read last week.  Hello Loves!  Hope you've had a good weekend.  Mine was a mixed bag.  Some good. Some bad. Some anxious.  Here's a look at the good.  Planner time is happy time.  I am completely up to date on my planners and journals and it makes me so happy.  I am also writing regularly in my book journal and keeping my bookish thoughts organised and getting them down on paper.  Here are my daily planner and book journal looking pretty.  Planner spread for this week. Plants.  Flowers.  Clean and simple with plenty room to write.  Instead of writing in my daily journal on Sunday I wanted to create a little art journal spread.  So I did that instead and wrote myself a little reminder.  My planner tote and wool pen pouch looking cozy.  Hello Loves!  Like all planner nerds my quest for next year's planner begins in August or September of the current year.  This year however I was allll set on not getting a planner at all. I have Kikkik undated planner sitting unused since 2019. So I had decided to be good and not splurge on a new planner for 2022.  But. But.  But.  That beautiful planner is in Bombay. And I am not.  Also, I saw little sneak peeks of Inkbucket's planner line up and got so so so tempted. To be very honest it was the freebies that had me a little drooling and I kinda fell for it and ordered myself a planner!  😂 Oh well. I am only human. I know a lot of you did the same, so we are all in the same boat.  So here we are with my planner for 2022!!!! I am using an Inkbucket Planner this year too and 2022 will be third year using one of their planners.
