 My February Journal.  That's the post.  I went alllllll out for my birthday month.  Gathered all of my favourite supplies and made a collage spread to make me happy.  I love how this turned out and everyday, when I reach for my journal it makes me soooo happy. I want to make every page as pretty as possible but also do my usual journal things, like rant and vent and cry and make a ton of lists.  Will share a look at the pages and set-up soon.  This is just the first two pages.  I am in love!  Maybe I should do this every month and feel just as blissed out ☺

 Hello Loves.  Today was a blue day, a day when, for no real reason I just feel off and sad and alll up in my feelings.  It's OK. Shitty days happen and we find ways to deal with them. I think everyone has their own recipe for handling a day like this, little ways to snap out of it or at the very least manage your feels so you can navigate the day.  Over the years, I have learnt a few things I do to feel better.  Here are some of my tried and tested methods that work for me.  I hope this helps.  WAYS TO FEEL BETTER:   1. Take a deep breath and identify what you are feeling and maybe why you are feeling this way. Sometimes there are external things that make us feel off. Did something happen? Can you do something about it? Or is it just an unexplained bout of sadness. Allow yourself to feel it. Feel sad. Feel blue. Hiding from it or ignoring it won't do you any good.  Hello Loves! A quick post today to share my Daily Journal for September.  I finally finished my previous journal, one I had been using since May sometime in August, then I used a teeny tiny journal for the rest of the month and now I started this journal.  It's a traditional Indian Journal, a Bahikhaata. One used to keep accounts.  I bought this from Anokhi a few years ago and love the aesthetic of it.  This is what she looks like.  Look at her sitting pretty with Ganpati Bappa.  A little sunkissed moment.  The first page has a gold foil image of Ganpu, perfect for this month.  :)  Front page decor.  In shades of brown and gold.  Have Faith.  Some more low key collage-ing.  This is how I like starting my month, by setting up my planner and journals.  The inside is kept clean and functional and it's all about just venting my thoughts and feelings.  :)  The supplies used are from:  Amazon.  Cla...

 Hello Loves!  A new month means setting up a new Journal for my Daily Musings and Thoughts.  This month I moved in and set my Journal in this Purple Linen Journal I found on Amazon a couple of months ago. It's a curious size, somewhere between an A6 and a Field Notes sized. I find it perfectly sized, plus it's lined and wonderful and it's the right size to write down some daily rambles and not be too overwhelmed while starting my brain dump.  It's from a brand called Kitabby, you can find something similar here.   Here is how I set it up.  I used pretty much most elements from The Flora Kit from Shop ABC .  Hello March!  Hello Spring!  Hello Sunshine!  I am so happy you are here March.  I am excited to read only amazing women writers all month long for #FemmeMarch.  I am happy to step into this new month and make the most of it.  My month began very happily.  Hello Loves!  Today's post is all things Journals, well, Art Journals, to be specific. I will soon do a post on my other journals..as in my journal journals, the ones I write in. But I thought I'd kick start with my art journals  I have 3 Art Journals that I used interchangeably this year and I really enjoyed being creative in them. I am no artist. Not by a long shot but I do enjoy dabbling into creative pursuits and painting and creating mixed media collages. It's a great way to unwind and be present and this year, it's been my cure for sad days and anxiety.  Hello Loves!  I have always been a notebook hoarder. I have a tiny cupboard back home full of little treasures we've collected lovingly over the years. If I see a beautiful notebook, I honestly have a hard time resisting it.  Especially if it's handmade.  When I came across Alluvial a few months back, I loved their aesthetic and wanted to get a few of their journals.  So we ordered three.  A beautiful chikankari  (hand embroidery style native to Lucknow) one for my sister.  A batik tiny journal for me, which I've already started using.  & A printed journal in the most earthy tones.  I am super happy with these notebooks.  Let's see them shall we?  Look how beautiful the work is.  We have lived in Lucknow for five years and therefore have very fond associations with chikankari . We own kurtas in every possible colour and so when we saw this sublime notebook we couldn't pass it up.  This tiny guy makes me so happy...
