Hello!  I read a lot of Indian books. Well, I am Indian of course. But that's not the only reason I read so many Indian books, I genuinely enjoy Indian writing and story-telling. There is so much great writing that comes out of India. Master story-tellers. And this has been the case for centuries. Of course, there is a lot of 'popular' Indian writing as well, books that sell millions of copies. Books that many people read and love. Books which I don't really read...because....they are not for me. I don't judge anyone who reads and loves them. To each their own. I thought it was high time I share some of my favourite Indian Authors of all time. And with it share some of my favourite books by them. Hello!  This post is super duper late.  I just forgot all about my Monthly Favourites at the beginning of November.  What with Diwali looming large I just forgot to document all the of things I loved in October.  And I loved quite a few things in October.  So let's see them shall we?  Late but still very loved!  :)  1. Durga Pujo: My hands down favourite thing all month long was Durga Pujo. The days leading up to it, the preparaitons, the shopping, the outfits being lined up and of course the four days of Pujo festivities! All of it very good!  2. Favourite Little Bag: I have wanted to carry this red hard-leather bag of mine for ages. I carried it on Ashtami evening. Held everything I needed and looked gorgeous as hell! :)  3.  Hello, fellow stationery aficionados! Today I will be sharing with you the innards of the little Traveler's Notebook that I carry along with me to document my little outings and adventures. Here she is! This is the Terra Firma X-Treme Bifold by Zenkraft. You can find Yochanan's Facebook Page here and the Zenkraft website here .  Now this notebook is different from your usual Traveler's Notebooks because it has multiple extra pockets and this is a design innovation made by Yochanan of Zenkraft to make these notebooks more everyday carry-friendly. Hello!  This Friday I am sharing the things I carry around in my backpack. Lately, I've become quite obsessed with backpacks.  I find them so easy to use and convenient.  My collection of backpacks is also growing.  I like mid-sized backpacks, not too large and not too small. Large enough to fit my essentials but not too big that it looks like luggage.  Here is my newest backpack from Westside and I love it's monotone simplicity and it's bright coral pink interior which is a delightful pop of colour.  Here is everything I tote around... An over view of my bag and things.  I also usually have a 500 ml of water with me but it's not pictured here..and my phone as well, it was being charged while I was taking these pictures.  Some close-ups of the bag.  Some essentials--- mints, gum and hand sanitiser.  As usual my bag is full of tinier pouches inside to hold all of my odds and ends....

Hello!  I saw this tag floating on Booktube and I wanted to do it as well.  Talking about Bookish Things is a favourite thing of mine.  So here are 25 Bookish Facts About Me... 1. Three Little Pigs is my favourite 'fairy tale' even though it has no fairies in it.  2. My first ever book was a waterproof alphabet book that I used 'read' in my bath as well.  3. If I don't finish a book in a few days I begin to feel a little restless.  4. Buying new books always cheers me up.  5. I didn't read any Young Adult books when I was an actual young adult. I was reading literary fiction and very serious books then.  6. I don't really sci-fi much.  7. Nor do I really enjoy high fantasy a whole lot.  8. I judge people who don't read.  9.
