Hello!  Today I want to list my Top Indian Reads of 2017. I always try to read as diversely as I possibly can but truth be told, Indian Books are the ones I tend to enjoy the most.  Indian Books are my go to reads in general. I am always happy to slip into a book that has a familiar setting and take little effort to imagine the world. Plus we have so many talented writers in India whose work I immensely enjoy.  So let's see the Indian Books I Loved Best in 2017.  (In no particular order)  1. Chronicle of a Corpse Bearer by Cyrus Mistry/// A poignant story about the community of Parsi corpse bearers and their trials and sufferings. Wonderful written and thought provoking. Merry Christmas, guys! :) I hope your day is full of love and happiness! I wanted to share a very sweet Christmas surprise that my sister ordered for me a few weeks ago. It is a Pocket (Field Notes) sized Traveler's Notebook (TN) from Cristina's Leather . This is the TN that I will be using to house my BuJo for January 2018! This TN is made of two types of leathers. The base leather is a burgundy coloured smooth leather while the outside pocket is a hot pink suede. I love the contract of textures and that hot pink really pops!  Here is another shot of the TN. I love it so much! I love how the edges are rounded and the pink stitching makes it extra cute and girly!  Here's how it looks like with the full outside pocket! Hello!  Today's post is a very pretty one!  Full of Kalamkari delights.  Kalamkari is one of my favourite handloom styles/ arts from India.  The vivid colours, prints and stunning art and illustrations are such a perfect representation of Indian art and style.  Today I want to share 3 gorgeous Kalamkari totes from Ilika Studio.   I came across these gorgeous bags via  Rishi aka The BookWorm Diaries on Instagram. I saw her haul a tote and went to the shop she had linked.   Ilika Studio, which is an indie store on Instagram that sells bags and clothes through her Insta shop.  I immediately DM-ed the shop owner and began the process of getting the bags!  I fell in love with the colours of these totes and ordered 3.  :)  These Buddha faces are so beautiful.  This red one might just be my favourite.  So lovely!  All three beauties.  :)...

Hello!!! I have been reading without a TBR for a few months now. It wasn't a conscious decision or anything but it just happened. I would have an idea as to which books I wanted to read over the month but I didn't quite make a concrete plan. I do love making TBRs, in the long run it makes my reading life a little simpler. Hello!  I recently listed some of my favourite Instagram shops on the blog and soon after than I came across a jewellery shop on Instagram called Nnazaquat Tribal Jewelry and I fell in love with their stuff.  They have some beautiful boho baubles and they are priced so well and there is so much to choose from.  Let's see the beauties shall we!  First the earrings.  Jhumkas! Hello, hello! So, I missed Blogmas yesterday. Apologies for that! I've been a bit under-the-weather and just couldn't get myself to do anything much yesterday apart from reading a bit.
