Hello July 2017! + Reading Goals for the rest of 2017.

Hello July!!!
Be Kind.
Be Gentle.
Be Calm.

Be Good July!!

July is here and I am excited to jump into the second half of the year.
How time flies!
The first half of 2017 is gone, in the blink of an eye.
So far in the year I've read 95 books and am merely 5 books away from reaching my Goodreads reading challenge.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I am happy to say the least.
:)

My reading goal for the rest of the month is to re-read a ton. I am building my July TBR with that goal in mind. I am really feeling my already read pile of books. June was a month without a TBR and I just picked books as and when I felt like, which is good but I was more than stumped a few times. I like having a pre-decided pile of books to stare at and decide.

I have also come up with some READING GOALS for the rest of 2017.

1. Reading more older books from my bookshelves. I have books that have been on my shelves from anywhere from 5 to 10 years and I still haven't read them. Time to amend that.

2. Re-read a ton. With my GoodReads challenge met I feel like chill out and just read for the simple joy of reading.

3. Finally make my way to bigger books! Take my time and just spend time with some fat little book.

4. Ditto with classics, so far in the year my classic reading has been minimal. And that too, I have mostly read modern classics and such. I want to delve into some of my Penguin English Library books.

5. If possible I also want to read more Graphic Novels and even some YA...I haven't read YA in a long time.

I hope you have a lovely July.
I will be back soon with my TBR post!

Happy Reading Folks!
