5 True Crime Documentaries to Watch this Weekend

Hello, hello, After absolutely ages, we are back with a 'What to Watch' recommendation post! Today we are recommending 5 True Crime Documentaries that we recently watched and loved!  Let's get into it, shall we?  1. Into the Fire: The Lost Daughter tells the heartbreaking story of birth mom- Kathy Terkanian- who had given up her nine-month-old daughter for adoption in 1975. She had heard nothing of or from her child (since it was a closed adoption) until 2010, when the adoption agency wrote to her asking for a DNA sample to match a set of female remains found in Wisconsin. It was then that Kathy, who even after receiving the letter had not learnt her child's name, learnt that her daughter has been missing since 1989! The two-episode documentary follows her tenacious search into the whereabouts of her daughter and the shocking revelations that unearth more unsolved crimes!  Very, very good! Absolute must-watch! Streaming on Netflix. 2. Worst Ex Ever: Who hasn't had

Monday Moods: A Happy Monday.

Snippets from my day today… Aren’t long weekends just the best?  Hope you’re having the best long weekend ever.  Tea & Coffee Moments, I have become quite smitten with green tea lately. Coffee is still my first love but a nightly green tea hits the spot. Cute corners of home. This old timey telephone is an old perfume bottle we’ve had since before I was born. It’s too cute to part with.  Last few days with Ganpu ✨🪔✨ My current read. I didn’t read enough over the weekend. Still reading this and it’s quite nice.  The rains have run off and I just can’t with this heat.  Hope this week brings rain.

Saturday Diaries. 14/9/24

Hello Loves 🎀 I am feeling a little under the weather today.  So took things easy. Read a bit.  Chilled out.  And hoped for rain which has pretty much abandoned Mumbai.  Started this viral TikTok sensation..  My hopes/expectations are measured, I am just hoping for an easy and happy and emotional read.  I am a couple of pages in and quite happy as of now.  iPad, book and annotation things.  Finished reading this last night and it was cute and wholesome and full of cats.  In many ways it's exactly what you expect from a Japanese book.  Worth a read.  Iced-coffee.  Words of wisdom 🌿

Friday Favourites: Mid-September Joys.

Hello Loves 🐻 September is breezing away and I've sorta dropped the ball on blogging.  Well.  Here's what my month has looked like so far this month and some of my favourite moments...  I love September kicks off the festive season.  There's light and merriment and joy in the air. 🪔 Books.  Corners of home.  Dusk.  Views our my windows.  New books on my iPad.  Bookmarks.  Cute journal spreads.  Planner Time.

Hello September 2024!

Hello September 🪔🤎🍄🌿🎀🌧💐🪔 Here's hoping you are kind, gentle and perfect and soothing.  Here's what the first day of September looked like...  Tidied up my corner in the living room.  Moved around my books.  Set up my planner and journal.  Changed up some decor.  Rested.  Ate some yum snacks.  Made a sorta TBR.  Spoke to Maa for a long time.  Felt happy in my little life.   I hope the rest of September is just as good.
