5 True Crime Documentaries to Watch this Weekend

 Hello, hello,

After absolutely ages, we are back with a 'What to Watch' recommendation post! Today we are recommending 5 True Crime Documentaries that we recently watched and loved!

Let's get into it, shall we?

1. Into the Fire: The Lost Daughter tells the heartbreaking story of birth mom- Kathy Terkanian- who had given up her nine-month-old daughter for adoption in 1975. She had heard nothing of or from her child (since it was a closed adoption) until 2010, when the adoption agency wrote to her asking for a DNA sample to match a set of female remains found in Wisconsin. It was then that Kathy, who even after receiving the letter had not learnt her child's name, learnt that her daughter has been missing since 1989! The two-episode documentary follows her tenacious search into the whereabouts of her daughter and the shocking revelations that unearth more unsolved crimes!

Very, very good! Absolute must-watch! Streaming on Netflix.

2. Worst Ex Ever: Who hasn't had a terrible ex? Well, hopefully for your sake, not as terrible as these men and women, who could not accept the break up and did horrific, petty and criminal things to their exes!

Really chilling stories and an absolute must-watch. Streaming on Netflix.

3. Worst Roommate Ever: Another documentary created by Blumhouse, which tells of horrifying and criminal roommates! This one has 10 episodes and each story is as horrifying as the other!

People with roommates must absolutely watch this for catching red flags! Streaming on Netflix.

4. Taken Together: This documentary is so interesting yet so heartbreaking. It starts with the story of 10 and 8 year old Lyric and Elizabeth, who went missing one summer afternoon from their small Iowa town in 2012. As the case unfolds, horrifying patterns and other cases in Iowa of double kidnapping emerge.

Brilliantly done and an absolute must-watch! Streaming on Jio Cinema.

5. Chimp Crazy: From the makers of the creepy and bizarre Tiger King, Chimp Crazy exposes and brings alive the demented world of people who LOVE big apes! Remember the 2009 case in Stamford, CT of a woman whose face was bitten off by a chimpanzee? She was interviewed later by Oprah? Well, that and other such demented cases of chimp-obsessed people are shown on this four-part series.

Again, must-watch! Streaming on Jio Cinema.

Have a great weekend, y'all!
