2014 Favourites: Planners and Journals

As 2014 draws to a close, we are going to be doing a round up of several favourites- planning tools, books (obviously!) and many other things!

We're starting with planners and journals because now is the time to buy whatever planner/ notebook/ journal that you are planning on using for 2015.

Let's get into it, then!

Frankie Magazine, an Australian magazine full of beauty and lovely things, brings out its annual diary every September-October. These beautiful diaries feature high-quality paper, pretty patterns and several paper goodies like stickers and post cards. If you love pretty stationery and want a beautiful cloth-bound diary, then do get yourself the Frankie 2015 Diary

I stumbled upon the Hobonichi Techo (techo=book in Japanese) earlier this year via Instagram. I immediately fell in love with its graph paper pages and the beautiful paper, which is very ink pen friendly. For 2015, I have bought the Hobonichi Techo in an A5 or 'Cousin' size.

Another great planner/journalling system is the Midori Traveler's Notebook. This a simple yet very functional system where you can carry multiple notebooks in one leather-style binder. The notebooks for the Midori are available in multiple formats- ranging from weekly layouts to blank pages to lined and so on.. very versatile and compact enough to be carried around in your handbag.

For sheer beauty, treat yourself to a Rifle Paper Co notebook. Available in India via Amazon and Rediff. I adore Anna Bond's floral illustrations and these notebooks are a joy to write in and, obviously, look at!

Nappa Dori, a premium brand of leather goods, launched their stationery line a few months back. They have some pretty neatly designed planners/agendas made from really luxurious leather. These are expensive but the quality and finish are very, very good. This is the Tan Organizer

An oldie but a goodie- a Filofax planner. Simple, timeless and very, very customizable! Flipkart, Amazon and a bunch of other online retailers sell them in India.

Can you tell we are very slightly addicted to stationery? It is one of life's joys! :)

What do you use for planning or journalling?  Do share! :)

Hey Pooja!
We seem to have a few things in common! Especially the whole planner/ journal obsession and reading of course. I bought my brown midori from Singapore, I now want a black one for The Hubster, how did you get hold of it in India?

Hi Jazna,
Unfortunately, the Midori is not available in India.. Please look online- maybe Google and check- where you can buy it from.. I have heard it is available on Amazon.com (not .in), so, perhaps there are also other sites where you can buy it?

You can buy the midori in India via Goulet pens. You'll probably have to pay quite a lot for the shipping though.
I found a dealer in Delhi who is an official reseller for Midori. Bought some Midodi stuff from him.
I found a dealer in Delhi who imports all the Midori stuff from Japan. Bought the MTN last year, super happy :-)
