Blogmas Day 10- Favourite TV Shows of 2019- Fiction

Hello!

This has been a good year for TV, there were some amazing shows, most of which we binged on streaming portals.
I am a big TV buff, always have been.

Without wasting any more time, let's jump into it.

1. Chernobyl: Possibly, one of the best TV shows of the decade! A story of deceit, corruption, but, most importantly, of the courage, sacrifice, nobility and utter humanity of a handful of people. A must watch! Available on Hotstar.

2. Fleabag: Season 2 was even better than Season 1! A hilarious, heartbreaking, smart show! Available on Amazon Prime Video.

3. What we do in the Shadows: Vampires like you have never seen them! Made by the genius that is Taika Waititi, this show is laugh out loud funny! Available on Hotstar.

4. Stranger Things 3: Possibly, the best season of the show after the epic first season! This season was non-stop thrills and action. So good! Available on Netflix.

5. The Chalet: A French TV series (on Netflix) that is a very suspenseful slasher flick! Available on Netflix.

6. Derry Girls: 90s nostalgia meets Irish humour in Derry at the height of the IRA's activities. Super hilarious! Available on Netflix.

7. Unbelievable: A fantastic TV series based on a true story of a young girl, who was raped at gun point in her own home but the cops didn't believe her. The result? A serial rapist got away! He went on to rape many more women across state lines till two women police officers caught him. Available on Netflix.

8. Typewriter: A ghost story meets a whodunnit. Three kids in Goa form a Ghost Club to solve an age old mystery behind a book. Available on Netflix.

9. Bhram: Another ghost story, which moves between present day events and something which happened 20 years ago. Quite suspenseful with some spooky moments and solid performances. Available on Zee5.

10. The Family Man: A spy TV series done right. A Manoj Bajpayee masterclass! Lots of edge of the seat moments. Definitely worth a watch! Available on Amazon Prime Video.

What are some of your favourite TV/ OTT series?
